MIDA will become unstoppable after this update drops. It's already overused, but with the loss of special ammo at the start and primaries getting more important, it will become the most overused weapon in the history of Destiny. I know that you bastards are already thinking about using it too, you're just tingling at the thought of having nothing to challenge you anymore at mid to long range. I love how people say that it isn't OP yet use it exclusively because they "like it". Yeah, you like being able to get easy kills with 90% aim assist and not have to try at all.
This special ammo nerf is a good move I think, but the day that they nerf MIDA will be much more satisfying.
EDIT: I'm salty because it's completely true. When's the last time you've played IB or trials since the december update where you haven't seen the majority of players using a MIDA? I certainly can't remember. It's basically as bad as thorn was back in HoW.

It's a great weapon, no matter what angle you come at it. That's why people use it. Amazing stability and reload and solid damage and range. MIDA is great but doesn't need a nerf. Other weapons need buffs so they can compete.

I think 3 rushing at the start with tlw will be pretty solid. Mida would get chewed up there.

There are a multitude of weapons that counter Mida in their intended ranges. Thorn, TLW and Doctrine of Passing are all good examples. Mida is in no way overpowered and if they were to buff any of the other primary classes even a little bit, it would go right back into most people's vaults where it was during every other meta this game has ever seen. It is easily the most mediocre meta weapon that this community has ever bitched this much about.

I think MIDA is the definition of a balanced gun in my opinion. It's really good at mid-long ranges, but get outgunned at the furthest ranges by guns in the Jade Rabbit archetype, and it gets destroyed by guns like the last word and doctrine of passing in close quarters. It's definitely stronger now that special weapons won't keep it in check as much, but that doesn't automatically give it this god-tier status. It's a top tier gun for sure, but it is not overpowered by any means.

but no it´s not op. I just dont think there is anything wrong in the system earlier. Every team has a possibility for a sniper or a shotgun, then there just bad players who can´t get a kill with the instruments they´re given

Mida is not capable of 3 shotting. It does 55 damage per critical hit. Minimum damage required to kill any Guardian is 180. Do the math.

I think you missed what makes Mida so good in the current meta, the presence of snipers. It's the snipe-check weapon. Without snipers on the scene, Mida will be facing more primary confrontations.
