Quitter emblem
This is from a post
I just read and after repeatedly quitting Ib matches In a short time frame you should get a irremovable emblem for the week saying quitter
Edit there is a reason it is a set amount of matches in a timeframe if you choose to leave say 5 matches in 30 minuites it begins to become time wasting to other players I totally understand quitting one or two games any more is wasting others time and in an online game such as this Thee should be a penalty for that
Would quitters prefer a ban ? I don't know it's just an idea

Lots of people quit when it is just a bunch of laggers in the match. Why stay in a match with targets you can't hit because they are cheating, and yes, a lagging connection is cheating!

It's the game mode. Solo players warned bungie, and they basically said "screw you". Rift is team oriented. I'm not going to get mad at someone for leaving a game they didn't tabs a chance in anyways.

Maybe not for disconnects, but just for anyone who holds the 'go to orbit' or anyone who changes character mid game. It'll just replace your usual emblem for half an hour across all characters. A week is a bit much, unless there is repeated quitting, then it can be longer. No seriously this is the best early quitter punishment I've seen. The people who leave early are the ones who care more about KD or their image or getting only wins, they wouldn't want to have an emblem like that. Bump for so much support!

What about an emblem for good behavior? Not quitting PvP and Strikes, not being AFK during those, actually involved in the game. I would prefer this over being "rewarded" for quitting.

As a solo player I can tell in about the first 15 seconds of my team will win. Do they aggressively rush the spark is the first clue and usually the biggest. If I see a whole bunch of snipers pulled out and hardscoping I know exactly how this is going to go. I just sit back and do the same to get the medallion. I'll stay and sit back in my spawn for the first 5 medallions if I'm on a losing streak but after that. I'm out. I'm getting nothing by staying.

And wait for a respawn as I watched 3 members of my team sit comfortably on their positions, sniper rifle in hand, as the enemy team respawned, made their way to the spark and grabbed it - Vertigo again: at the beginning of a map, when spawning C, entire fireteam heads to the centre via the tunnels... You know, so they can be fishes in a barrels on 2 choke point corridors, and/or fall in the chasm, instead of immediately heading left up the metal ramp - Bannerfall: the enemy grabbing the spark after wiping out a bunch of us at the spawn. I'm the last one to go down. as I respawn near our rift and immediately head towards it, I see 3 team members running AWAY form the rift and back into the the centre, blocking the path of me and another guy trying to go defend our rift. And I can't even count the number of time I've seen 2 plus guys near an open spark that is a few seconds from spawning just leave an go run for heavy that will spawn in 10 secs because the prompt came up I'm sorry... But when you see shit like this, whiting the first few minutes of a match, and/or the enemy team captures the spark 3 or 4 times in a row because no one except 1 or 2 players are even near the spawn, it's pretty obvious you're playing with a bunch of hopeless scrubs. And there is only one sane thing to do: Quit and go find another match

2 RespuestasLet's see... Yesterday my first matches went something like this... 5 games, 5 six man teams, 5 spawn traps, 5 medallions... Why the -blam!- would I bother staying in the sixth match if my team is down 5000 after 3 minutes? It's a waste of time for everyone. Leave, find another game with a chance to cash in meds. Simple.

I play solo... So when I get put into a match already down by 4000 and the other team has supers and heavy, I'm going to back out everytime untill I get a game that starts from the beginning
