Bungie and Activision have been busting their asses pumping out update after update and free DLCs to keep us gamers satisfied. But even after pouring countless nights and endless money into making Destiny what it is today, you guys are still not satisfied. There is ALWAYS something to complain about and they're probably depressed after reading all of your damn posts on how Destiny sucks.
We should be damn grateful that we don't have to pay for these DLCs/updates like every other game developer charges. Bungie is not composed of robots that work 24/7 365 for our pleasure. They have lives and families they must tend to.
Even if they charged us for all of these DLCs I would pay and I know damn well the rest of you would too. As a matter of fact, I urge everyone on these forums to donate at least $2 to Bungie/Activision. Maybe that will help kickstart some fresh content and innovation or something.
I included a link to their store since they don't have a GoFundMe page or a direct site to donate money.
************************EDIT**********************A lot of you are bringing up micro transactions through silver saying THATS how we pay for updates/DLC. Well, you would have a good point if Bungie did NOT donate 100% of those transactions to the global American Red Cross fund. Feel kinda dumb now huh?

Editado por charbr88: 1/27/2016 3:08:47 PMYou lost me on the 2nd sentence. Crimson days is a joke. Edit. You know what they can do to fix things? Quit thinking too much. Bring content already in the game up to level and let us infuse our year 1 weapons to higher levels. I would rather have that happen than these festivals
-
1 RespuestaYou forgot the satire tag. Or bait tag.
-
These are not DLC they aren't even permanent, most of them are poorly planned little shits that barely function or ruin matchmaking gameplay to a worse version.

1 Respuestayoure the worst troll, the worst. to much effort went into this

How is that free dlc? Lol you're confused as to what these events are my friend.

More gimmicks than dlc.

1 RespuestaIf SRL and FOTL were paid DLCs, I wouldn't have payed. I wouldn't be paying for a dodgy valentines event either. Utter crap.

Who would have paid for festival of the lost or SRL? What are you even talking about? Lay off the peyote bud.
-
You know what? Youre right. I'm glad I don't have to pay for something I won't be playing.

I'm grateful for content that lasts longer than a week.
oh wait
Nice try friendo, but the weekly updates are archived on the site. Feel free to check it out yourself: no mention of "donation". It does mention using the proceeds to fund live content though. Try again.

Is the Red Cross associated with Bungie's live team somehow? I could have sworn that's what they said silver would pay for

Don't buy silver.

5 RespuestasNo. Why should I feel dumb ?. As gamers we have contributed a vast sum to Bungie/Activision even before the advent of Silver and micro transactions. Bungies high and mighty approach, treating it's players with thinly veiled contempt (throw your money at the screen ??) and it's constant pushing of boundaries to see how much the better off and gullible will throw at the game, don't make me warm to it as a company. I have never asked for a nerf or a buff but many of the changes are pointless. They are either fractional or do harm to PvE because the complaint relates to a PvP experience. I accept balance is difficult to achieve but sometimes it's better to leave alone than to constantly meddle. Bungie fawns over certain Twitch and YouTube presenters, takes their word as gospel and promotes them in such a way that the rest of us, the "vanilla" players, probably feel that our opinions aren't worth a damn because we haven't got our own channel. Their presentations of new material, the "reveals", consist of yet more fawning and promoting of streamers in a chaotic, amateurish setting, which, personally, I find insulting and off putting. They certainly wouldn't make me want to buy the game. If Bungie wants my support then (1) it can act in a more professional way. It can treat us like adults occasionally instead of thinking its players are all about 12. (2) it can be more transparent and honest with its player base. (3) it can moderate it's forums better so people get the sense that someone is actually taking note of what's said on here, clamping down on the trolls and having a more official face enabling us to interact with them rather than just post and hope it gets seen. (4) it can set out s clear timetable and pricing policy for the next 12 months so we all know where we stand. No, I'm not dumb. I'm just not a sheep.
-
I wouldn't donate the steam off my piss on a cold morning. Bungie can suck it, as can their stupid fan club
-
You say that like there isn't going to be some stupid card or some other way that bungie is going to scam money out of dumb players. Never fear... that money will go directly to not adding content to the game.
-
1 RespuestaI'd rather pay for good meaningful content
-
I could see bungievision charging for updates. Something game breaking like the shadow shot glitch comes and bungievision says "to receive the shadow shot patch will cost you 20 silver" OP thinks this is logical. There is no insult that could measure the OPs mental short comings
-
You should be thankful people you meet let you breath their air.

Apart from blood all over the tower, what's new about crimson doubles? Re skinned loot? A kiss emote? You bet your ass there will be silver involved somewhere. Gta has free shit all the time, they still make it snow on Xmas. (Games boring now but when was it released?) I still enjoy the game but I think 290$ is enough
