Poor women of destiny...
Seriously. This place is, in my experience, 99% male. I've only ever met three girls on this. Three. Out of hundreds of people. I feel bad for them. With the Crimson day upcoming, people have been trying to get dates over a virtual game. Bungie, the perfect matchmaker. Honestly, it's like walking into a nightclub and having 500 people. And 5 of them are girls. So per one girl, there are 100 male onlookers. But, over the Internet, we don't know so it's like we ask random people to do it and now look. We got some guys calling other guys "dates to doubles". I've got nothing against it but I've never encountered any gays on this game so all of a sudden, it's getting creepy for me. Really though, try to get a girl IRL and bring her into the game. Sure, it'll be harder but then, instead of a 20 year old nursery teacher, you get a 57 year old with a PS4, voice changer and a sex-offenders document and served 30+ years in jail for indecency in public and sexual assault of 17 boys and girls in 3 years and 15 states. Really though. If you're a women, sorry about my gender all of a sudden being really creepy around you and all of the sudden search to find someone who's not being creepy and actually a nice guy willing to play the game and be friends. Sorry guys, that's the closest you'll probably ever got over video games.

49 RespuestasI've never really gotten the whole creepy guy thing. I've just been abused for being female. Been told I'm shit (before they've even seen me play) and have been booted from some peoples teams for my gender. They don't know I'm a girl,and when I've joined and eventually spoken I've had the response of 'i ain't having a girl on my team' and I've been kicked. It's only happened 4 times in my 18 months or so of playing,mainly in the earlier days. But it was enough to put me off lfg for life.

The only people on my friends list are these dudes I've known in real life for almost 6 years, but they've moved on from Destiny. So I don't join party's often but I played trials ONCE with these two dudes and they just made fun of me and said I sucked and used strong words, even though they were the ones that invited me so that makes zero sense to me, and they were very aggressive with that, but I still finished with them. Since then I haven't joined any randoms. And i understand it probably doesn't help that my grimoire score sucks but that's because I grind crucible. Cant do raids either because I don't know anyone so I'm forever 297 haha. [b]But I think that with the February update, it should be okay for two dudes to just chill and kill things together without it being weird. Plus I dont think Bungie made it as a real life matchmaker haha that would be pretty ridiculous, so OP your post seems kinda silly in that aspect.[/b]

We've all pretty much moved on from Destiny, but we still chat in parties. I don't think it's necessarily a gender issue. Pricks will be pricks regardless of gender.

Maybe because of my potato connection, but I play with women and girls (yes, there is a difference) all the time. As for the whole "bungle wanting us to be gay" or "guys being gay because of doubles" thing, I don't really see the argument. I'm straight, but my best friend (in real life and in game) is gay, and I'm doing doubles with him. Not because of any romance bs, but because he's a great player, and I want to wreck shop during the event. Lol

I know it's a valentines day event but can't to guys just spend time shooting things together without it being all weird? If you did find a girl to shoot things with, odds are she isn't a super model, and neither are you, so what are we really worried about? Are girls worse at playing? I doubt it since I bet that there are just a lot of casual players who not that bad or that great and sex has nothing to do with it. Why are you making it awkward for everyone? Did destiny say: " hey for valentines day find the mythical female who plays and make a date with her to shoot aliens."? Nope. You just made it all dirty for no reason
