Why don't you infuse the ugly raid armor ?
Everyone I raid people are using that disgusting hideous armor
I've infused everything but iron banner arms and chest cause I need them on my hunter and warlock and am waiting to see how the exclusive gauntlets are
Iron banner gear is best looking

Because the raid gear is more readily available than iron banner gear. That gives more opportunities to get more high light gear to use for infusion.

I liked the VoG gear, but I'm getting tired of wearing gear made from the body parts of hive enemies. Could've been more creative..

I have the IB set on all three characters at 320, but that's just because I happened to like how those sets looked more than the others, I have friends that prefer some faction sets over IB sets, it's really just down to preference and whether or not you can get a good roll on some pieces.

Perks are good for the raid itself. Never hurts to keep a set. I don't use the raid gear outside of the raid. I've gotten so much that I've infused and still have full raid gear for my characters.

Because I like the stats on the ones I have. Would like the iron banner gear but honestly could give two shits. I like the raid armor look except for warlocks.

Indeed. Iron Banner gear is the best looking. Check out my Warlock. I got the helm from a package and the next IB I got boots. Any Harrowed gear I get that is higher goes into the Iron Banner armour.

Mostly because I want specific stats for my gear (Int/Disc) so until I get another set with those stats I'll be using the raid gear.

If you switch your 320 helmet for a 310 one or even lower you're not gonna have a more difficult time in leveled activities. The leveling in this game can get pretty pointless and that's why I don't give a shit to get end game gear/get to 320 anymore. If you're 311 or higher you're ok for everything. Like seriously. What pros are there to being 320? Having an easier time with that raid you've mastered and can do in less than an hour without being 320? There are no pros but bragging rights that literally no one will care about. So stop.

I use the raid chest piece at all times for the stats and when I raid I use the raid arms for the reload speed in auras.

Because you lose light level when you infuse. I have a 320 titan raid helm that I HATE. But I have to wait until I get my trials helm up to 314 before I infuse it. Same goes for just about any piece of raid armor I have.
