Special weapons are over used.
In every Destiny "meta" people have complained about special weapons:
-In early/vanilla destiny fusion rifles were always called OP
-Shotguns have always been complained about to a large extent.
-More recently the crucible has become completely stagnated by the over abundance of snipers.
How about instead of constantly nerfing special weapons, if bungie simply nerfed special weapon ammo in PvP.
People should spawn without special ammo, and ammo crates should give a max of two shots, and should spawn slightly less often.
Maybe guns live invective and icebreaker that regen ammo could have their regenerative cooldowns increased as well.
Do you agree? And if not, why?
I will be ignoring everyone who responds to this by blindly attacking me or my ideas, if you have an opinion, just present it in a civil way. Everything said in this post is just a suggestion, and I'm not forcing anything on you...

2 RespuestasI personally do not agree. Maybe with not starting off with special ammo, but not the rest. The crates have already been nerfed a lot, and you can see the impact, especially if you're in rumble. Maybe there could just be less special ammo crates? Then it spawns in at a consistent speed but there's more of a fight for the ammo.

If 1 guy gets all the special ammo he's gonna win, it'll go from being a decent player/sniper/shotgunner whatever to whoever can get the most special ammo. No thanks

Editado por Pumpitup007: 1/17/2016 4:47:29 PMPrimaries should be at around a 0.5/0.7 TTK instead of 1 sec. That way they can compete with special weapons. (The way TLW does as the only primary right now). That would pretty much fix everything thats wrong with crucible right now.

2 RespuestasOk 1. Two shots is not enough for a sniper nor shotgun nor fusion rifle heck I only get 5-6 shots for my sniper every pickup (which is a perfect amount). 2. Why do you care what people use in battle. 3. Primary are their to shoot targets mostly at medium range besides I love hawkmoon and you can use a secondary whenever on momentum I sit in the back with my sniper in inferno clash and until then I'm using a primary. 4. OK now I'm over thinking this to put this all in one sentence. (Why would you care what people use unless you keep getting REKT by secondary)

If you take away special ammo or severely limit it then special weapons all but become redundant. So that leaves you with primaries for the majority of the game and soon 1 or 2 guns would emerge as "op"... And so continues the cycle Maybe when you enter a crucible match all characters become identical and are issued with khvostoc's.....

If you want that, just play Inferno where it's already like that. It's even the Weekly Crucible. Right now. Go play that.

I would be all for this... though maybe 2 per crate is a bit low. Also, could lower the amount of ammo crates... there have been rounds where I've been able to get 12 or 18 shots for my sniper, because I can grab 2/3 crates.
