Hey guys, about sniper rifles
You know all that salt you feel in your hearts? That rage that builds in your chest everyone you see 1k Stare in your kill screen?
That's exactly how snipers felt in all of year one, with Matador and Felwinter's Lie and Party Crasher
Karma's a b*tch ain't she?
Except, now, it's not a pair of magic perks. It's not some God roll gun, it's skill that's killing you. We're the over powered ones, not our guns.

I snipe but this is a dumb post. I have activated the perfectionist perk numerous times in crucible and that being said, sniping is a pussies game. I do it to inflate k.d. that's it. If you think sniping takes more skill than shotgunning you are pathetic. Camping cross walks and going back and forth between cross map spawn is cowardly. How is it that meeting someone face to face for battle is considered no skill but you morons praise hiding hundreds of yards from your target and shooting from behind cover as if you're skilled. Seriously, snipe if you want, it's fine, but dont act lile you're better than someone who shotguns. You're not. You hide more.

The guy who mentioned no sway and wobble is right. Any idiot can snipe in destiny. It's so easy. I will keep killin you hard scopers with a scout like I have from day one. You're just mad cuz you're not good enough to avoid shotguns. Git gud scrub.

Heeee, you should give Planetside sniping a whirl. Single shot chambers, ADS sway, breathing, bullet drop and proper muzzle velocity ballistics and actually fighting at 500-1000 yards against people who appear as a few pixels in size who are jetpacking.

In pretty much every shooter I play, I run sniper and Destiny has the easiest sniping I've ever experienced, so its kinda hard to take you seriously when you say it takes skill. My friend rarely uses a sniper because he's usually bad at it, but wrecks with it in Destiny. Of course I'm not calling for a nerf, but I have been saying that the Destiny sniper mechanics were misguided since day one, but people were too busy calling nerfs for shotguns. Its good to see people are finally catching on. Snipers shouldn't be nerfed, but its probably too late to make changes to the mechanics at this point. It could have been thought out a lot better.

I read over and over again about aim assist. Aim assist is not what you guys think. It makes the bullet not have a curvature while traveling. And it gives crosshair 0.5 sec slower travel across your shight. Inform yourselves before spilling salt.

I can't take someone seriosuly when all 3 characters combined, fromm al those sniper kills, 43.2% are headshots. so msot are BODY kills

If it really was skill you would have still sniped without sucking.. It's always been a headshot kill. Aim assist on my 1kys will headshot if I shoot over a shoulder which isn't skill at all. Plus body shot is a near kill which is also skills right?

Most of the people on here don't realize what aim assist really does. High AA doesn't make hitting headshots significantly easier and it doesn't curve bullets. People need to realize that skill is involved as well and stop complaining
