Go buy the year 2 Dragon's Breath from Xur. It's the closest thing we have to Gjallathorn. It takes more effort to use than Gjallarhorn, but it's powerful as all hell.
Personally, I always thought Gjallarhorn was a little lame. It was so easy to use and powerful that it made boss fights a little dull. You're not missing much.
