This is a post about old end game content being relevant again.
Do you understand the level of good pub Bungie would receive if they made this announcement...
"VOG, CE and POE will all be brought up to 290 light for normal and 310 light for hard mode. All gear and weapons(burns removed from primaries and Black Hammer would have new perks) would drop at light level 290-300 in normal and 300-310 in hard. This would make King's Fall still the most important raid because it drops 310-320 gear."
Bungie loves recycling old content...but when WE ACTUALLY ASK FOR IT they won't do it. Why?
JUST DO IT
edit: There isn't a DLC until Destiny 2. You can start fresh with D2 and that's when we'll get new content. So, why not bring everything up to Y2 level for the time being to get us through this long stretch. You can't argue with having more to do in this game....

1 RespuestaIt's a 2 year old game. Bungie is focused on destiny 2. I'm surprised they are even doing the little timed events and shit. Lots of games like this just die down till the sequel comes out, it's wild that it still has the life it does to be honest.

1 RespuestaI actually ran the old two raids this week as they are and had the most fun I've had in destiny in a while. No drops needed. No cares given. It was a blast and I honestly don't want them to become something that frustrates me because I didn't get the upgraded fatebringer after my 20th play through.

4 RespuestasYou say bring it up to drop up to 310 gear but that won't change anything... People only play modes to get some end gear. To prove this, nothing stops these people from going back and playing them currently, yet for some reason they don't. I wonder why?

2 RespuestasI was like YES!!! Until I read removing the burn. Screw that man. What we need is more variety, not less. I think all greens, blues, purple, and yellow weapons should be able to drop as kinetic, void, solar, or arc. Buying exotics from the kiosk will always be kinetic. Think about it... I will even use the current meta weapon as an example. What if you got a Mida drop with solar burn.... but someone else got an arc burn one. Each weapon would be special. Each have its own use. As far as the raids go. I say they do 320 Taken versions. Like.... instead or oracles you have Taken orbs popping up. My 2 cents. Enjoy. :)

The Division is knocking on the door in 3 months and iam sure Bungie will throw in their trump card. In between we will see a live event in the size of the Halloween event. There have been hints from Bungie themself AND one of the most misterious "leaker" on Twitter that was 100% right so far. I dont know what will come. Some say Europa as a new planet, but I lean more towards a Cabal raid and story missions.

4 Respuestasbungie does not want to redo old content in year 2 because that Means ppl would expect the gear to drop in the new light level and evey one would go back to using year one stuff and since bungie wants us to use new stuff constantly they would either nerf all year one gear or not bring back he raids so that's why and we can all agree bungie needs to chill and stop nerfing and buffing shit to force us to use things we will use what ever we want so pleas so trying to mess with everything

Just a guess but Im pretty sure this is their master plan and will fill the void of no DLC. It will be a timed release and probably one and than the other. Cost them next to no money to make the changes and it will keep players interested until D2. Its a no brainer but the timing with be strategic on their part.
