Mida is not overpowered, it's just one of the few surviving balanced guns
Edit: I'll clarify a little...
Primary weapons have been nerfed so hard they are nearly useless in crucible (so are shotguns, but beside the point...). We have maybe 5 viable options for primary now: tlw, mida, dop, nirwens, and some of the gunsmith guns are okay, too. None of these guns are overpowered by any means. They do not need to be nerfed. Nerfing the remaining primaries that we have left would ultimately give us a game of snipers or a boxing match....

1 RespuestaIt seems considerably stronger than other scout rifles because it excels in close and medium range while dealing the same dps as other scouts without having to be farther away. Basically, Mida is a pulse rifle hiding in the body of a scout rifle. Does it need nerfing? Not really, other guns just need to be brought up to par. I can outshoot mida with Jade rabbit as long as I'm not trying to shoot them up in their face, or with Monte Carlo as long as I'm not out of range, and that's exactly as it should be. What I fear is that the high usage of mida will cause my beloved scout rifles to be unnecessarily nerfed :(

Play more tactical? I'm not great but I don't see the big deal...some people are just good with it. Seems more statistical than anything.

I die a lot more from primaries in the Crucible than anything else, and I've fallen to a wide variety of them. Also, though I had access to both TLW and MIDA in Iron Banner, I wound up using a Hung Jury, a Colovance, and a Boolean for my three Guardians. MIDA is not OP, it was just recently (1) advanced to Y2 and (2) sold by ol' Tentacle Face. A lot of people bought them, a lot of people liked them, and so they got used a lot. Hence, a rep for being OP.

Nerf's aren't needed what we neex is buff's for other weapons so they stand a chance.

4 RespuestasYou do realized it needs to be nerfed it's unbalanced because all the other guns suck compared to those couple of guns. It's unfair that it hasn't been nerfed while we watched our favorite guns be nerfed. It wouldn't make sense to nerf everything but a couple of guns that are OP compared to everything else, it would only be fair.

It's a unique scout rifle that has exceedingly speed and power but was very underrated in year one of destiny. Now that Xùr has brought it for Christmas it has brought a lot of attention in crucible and iron banner. It sucks that a lot of people cry for debuffs of this rare gun.

To the people who think the mida is over powered: IF YOU DONT GETCHO STUPED ASS ON SOMEWHERE!!!! Mida has been the same since year one and hasn't been touched. Now all of sudden that you see more people you think it's over powered!? The mida is an exotic in its own class and doesn't need any changing. Y'all need some changing, get better at the game you whiners

1 RespuestaI agree with OP. It only kills me if they get either, first shot or if I try to go toe to toe with one at scout range with anything but a scout. I'm currently using Nirwens Mercy in trials so no bias from me.

2 RespuestasTomato tomahto.. Mida and the Last Word survived the nerfs. So they are more powerful than everything else. I personally don't like long ttks so I think the other guns should be buffed. But however you slice it, 2 guns stand alone as being overpowered right now. The doctrine is close as well.

MIDA isn't overpowered, the boost to speed is just really useful, also it's impact to rate of fire class is rare. It is the only taken king gun of the impact class.

2 RespuestasIMHO, I think that MIDA should do 49 Headshot damage and 33 body, so it's 5 Headshots and 7 to the body. BUT, that depends, I need to see how it would work, I don't think that 1 shot more would do a major difference, considering that every other weapons got nerfed. Meh, because you know, when it got nerfed, it cannot be returned to where it was (developper logic).
