I recognize dealing with revives is essential to success in trials. However, with fast revive gear, it can be oppressively strong to spam revives during a match.
Revive mechanics currently rewards sloppy play. Shields are strong, immunity frames are silly, and getting revived should be a risky last ditch effort.
Dying early should be punished...Instead, teams are forced to get up close with shotguns to stop a revive, or use sniper ammo after it has already happened.
Essentially, primaries are useless during revives, and causes a situation where you either stop the revive before it happens, or have to wait until it is over with before you can react to it.
This lack of counter play needs to be fixed IMO...but I'd love to hear what you think
Ps: Datto hasn't whined or even called for the nerf. I think they are the issue and believe they aren't being done properly. Don't be calling him out when he is more on your side than I am.
Edit: Shocked at how many people aren't even watching the video and trying to discuss this. It is as if nobody is even listening to the arguments and understanding why... I'm not asking to nerf them into the ground, just stop rewarding people for dying.

6 RespuestasYour argument is flawed because it's based off the assumption that revives aren't an integral part of that game mode. Don't like how destiny chose THEIR game mode then go to another.
