Warframe: The Original Destiny
Have you played Warframe? Bungie certainly did. Before they made a clone and called it 'Destiny.'

Warframe is destiny, but free? With every expansion unhindered by a paywall!? Ya don't say!

I played Warframe for a few months. Then Destiny for a year. Stopped playing destiny because I feel as tho I did everything I wanted to do. Just started Warframe again and am enjoying a lot more now than when I had first started it. With WF, they keep giving free updates and all new weapons and Frames to play with. Yes you can pay to get ahead faster. But you don't ever need to. You can trade for in game money(platinum) with other player using the trading system. I feel like I always have some goal to get to in that game. Be it making a weapon/Warframe, or just trying to do research. I'm never out of things to do. Not saying Destinys bad, but if you get bored with it, give Warframe a try.

10 RespuestasDuring Vanilla Destiny I played Warframe for awhile, back then they were nothing alike. Warframe had a lot of pay to win items, no social space and a lot of weird glitches in 2014, more than a year after it launched on PC. That where the games were similar, they both started off as incomplete games

That new update was [b][i]SICK[/i][/b]! All the cutscenes were really good and the new ability you unlock at the end is awesome. The thing that drives Warframe for me is the fact that EVERY update is free. Even the ones that can be sold as DLC. It's just truly an epic game. It's destiny but better in every way.

Disclaimer, I love both games pretty much equally and have criticized both for certain aspects equally. Both offer great weapons, sweet powers and tons of aliens to kill. That said, read a weekly update from Destiny, then go watch a bi-weekly devstream from Warframe. Then go read some patch notes from both games. Then come here and tell me which group of devs do it better. I'm not saying both companies don't do some ninja nerfing and buffing but DE just does the communication thing SO much better than Bungie.

Not even close to the same kind of game. If you took warframe and its massive content and put it into the destiny world,itd be incredible,but, they aren't even remotely the same type of game. Warframe is visually awesome,has great variety and is pretty well put together,but it's more of a mindless button master than an fps,good game,but not in the same category as destiny as far as style of game.

I like both games but destiny isn't linear like warframe. I wish warframe had an open world environment.

My brother likes it a lot, put many hours into it. I played for a couple of minutes and didn't like it. The controls and camera angle were janky and the enemies were too silly to take seriously. Though I have to admit, it looks amazing.

Let's also leave out the fact that Destiny began development 2010, where Warframe began development in early 2012, getting a early (and buggy) beta release early the following year.

3 RespuestasI honestly believe Destiny copied a great deal of Warframe. They just did a far less stellar job on their game. When you start with Destiny, it's the greatest thing ever, but when you move to Warframe, it's like graduating from High School and going to College. Warframe is the best game I've played in a while. It's really what I imagined Destiny would be. The only thing Destiny did do a little better was PvP, but with the recent changes, Destiny's PvP has become highly unenjoyable. I encourage anyone to try Warframe. I'm available to help on PS4. SN: KennyDoTT
