Can we get some evidence of this skill you have? You say you can get tons of headshots yet have provided no evidence to support that. If you think AA is going to effect skill then you must've been dropped on your head as a child. Try sniping someone like SirDemetrious, TrueVanguard, Kjhovey, etc and then you can talk about how AA "narrows" the skill gap.
It is extemely easy to snipe blueberries that have no communication and have never played against competitive opponents. Anyone who has participated in a sweaty knows that it is entirely different then regular crucible. The only change snipers need is for Bungie to increase the stagger caused by HCR. By increasing HCR effects you are giving someone the ability to challenge snipers. However, when selecting this perk you have to give up other possible stability or range boosts.

How am I gunna provide you with evidence? I can't record. It's pretty obvious to anyone who plays destiny that it's easier than all other games. I rarely snipe at all and when I do I do better than in games I have practiced in. My friend who is a good sniper in all games (doesn't own destiny) will watch my snipe in destiny and be like "wtf since when are you such a good sniper" and I'll be honest and tell him I'm not its just easier. Anyone who has played literally any other FPS would notice it's far easier. More so now than in vanilla cuz of a high impact sniper that also has super high aim assist when you factor in the shortgaze scope.
More so now than in vanilla cuz of a high impact sniper that also has super high aim assist when you factor in the shortgaze scope.
This part of your response is spreading ignorance. Vanilla snipers had more high impact snipers with even more aim assistance. Shadow of Veils had an 85 standard AA with Shortgaze on top of that. Her Benevolence with HH, Shortgaze, and snapshot had higher aim assistance with the ability to reforge giving you the best setup possible. Sniping is easier in this game, that isn't in doubt. However, you aren't going up against other competent snipers so of course it is going to seem easier. Once you try and successfully out snipe some of the best Destiny players then your point has validity. Sidearms are OP if I am running with a full team against randoms, does that mean they need to be toned down? AA should be set at a specific number for each archetype of sniper. Give the higher impact slightly less but you cannot remove it entirely. At this point the only reason 1000 yard stare is being used so often is because of its impact and how easy it is to get. The stats on it including AA are extremely average. Maybe Bungie should remove over shields from Trials so that every sniper could res snipe. Then maybe we will actually see some diversity.
