So ive played my fair share of destiny, completed everything yr1 and when TTK dropped was doing pretty well on it, however i took some time out when our son was born so my light level stayed around 305, now all i see is "must be 315+ for kf hard raid".
Now comes the funny bit i did nightfall this week with a 315 and a 318 and both were what i would call "not very good" constantly dying, yet im frowned upon because im the low light level.
So basically light only measures your strength, not how good of a player you are.

Up to him 305 is fine though. 99% of the time you make it up 2-5 light levels in one raid at that level. I miss tdb and how light levels. As soon as you had four good pieces of armor or etheric lights, the leveling up was done and it was all about collecting the guns and playing end game activities. None of the shit like now

We saw the same thing when people whined about 28s in Atheon. Don't sweat it. You'll eventually run into some helpful and intelligent guardians that won't impose this rule and be skilled enough to not suck so terribly! Lol.

This has always been the case. Luck determines light not skill.

Editado por Kizzler: 12/19/2015 7:32:12 PMHave you considered that maybe they were not taking it very seriously because, ummm, it's the nightfall? Nightfalls are a joke. Any who, congrats on your addition. I have 2 yunguns myself of 8 and 6. Hit me up if you're on Xbox and I'll get you through a HM KF.

1 RespuestaI agree, I've seen many people with high light that really do suck. Also, congrats on the birth of your son :)

4 RespuestasAgreed. Light Level is a rough estimate of game and encounter knowledge. Not player skill. Your raid leader should determine that. Or just make your own raid group

It measures your dps nothing more.
