Last Word Logic
The Last Word was nerfed quite a while ago. You didn't see one in every single match you ever played in the crucible anymore. But it would still pop up now and again. Still deadly. Not as deadly, but a skilled hand could use it. Like it was MEANT to be. (read the grimoire card on it.) I understand hand cannons recently got a range increase with this update but I mean come on. Maybe leave this one out? TLW is just cheaper than ever now. You guys know it is. That's why it's in such high quantities in the crucible. The chances of getting into a match where there is at LEAST 1 LW is higher than a match with 0.
Don't believe that? Go play 5 matches in different lobbies right now. I can GARUNTEE you TLW will be in the majority. Even if that individual(s) are on your team, that weapons there. Multiplayer shouldn't be like that.
EDIT: I guess this needs clarification (although it shouldn't) but when I say "cheaper than ever" I mean since year 2. Seeing as nearly all weapons of legendary status went moot and exotics all got re-vamped at that point.

8 RespuestasThe Last Word will lose to most primaries at medium to long range so long as you're hitting headshots. If you rush a Last Word user yeah you'll probably lose by why the hell did you rush in the first place. The only reason the Last Word seems so bad now is because it's what most snipers use as a primary to answer the rush. Shot gunners are just mad they can't get free kills off of sniper users.

The only buff to hand cannons was more accuracy while ads. You don't ads with TLW so it hasn't changed.

Only reason there's a lot of TLW in crucible is because of that lame quest lol. It's super inaccurate now too.

I just think that now there are only a couple of OP weapons, so like every other time in this games PVP history, one will begin to hold the reins as top dog. And now, especially now more than ever, TLW wrecks close range Bc a shotguns kill range is down to 3-6 meters

4 RespuestasThere were no range buffs, just accuracy. Sense they nerfed it's passive so bad it is a 3 shot kill just about anywhere unless you're stacking armor and you miss every shot. You're only seeing mida, tlw, and other guns shine through because everything else has had its dick shoved into the dirt from crucible tears.

4 RespuestasYou can thank TLW's rise to the shotgun nerfs y'all cried for. TLW only truly wrecks in close range with hip fire, otherwise I'm sniping. Why can't people realize what they're doing when they call nerf? They get what they want, people adapt, and then another gun becomes "OP." Scout rifles and pulse rifles will both outclass TLW at mid-long range so the TLW actually operates perfectly, imo.

I like how it is now. It's exotic and deserves to be good. I just think other primaries need a buff to compete, then maybe there would be a bit more of a variety in crucible. I mean at least it can't do 111 on a headshot from extreme ranges.

Maybe if they actually gave a decent buff to auto rifles, then it wouldn't dominate close-medium range encounters.

2 RespuestasMy Hakke Arminius-D is my go-to CQC primary weapon. I think that it'll outgun most other CQC primaries, save TLW at closest quarters, and a doctrine of passing with counterbalance.

I've always used tlw was my first exotic and I'll continue using it regardless. I like hawkmoon too nothing better than getting headshots with it.
