(Please understand that i have no position on Trump.
I am a European, interested in world politics with a healthy distrust of government and strong anti-globalist views.)
TL;DR: Hitler was a Revolutionary, Trump is an anti-Revolutionary.
Trump & Hitler are only similar in their success with blatant populism.
But populism is nothing new in American politics.
Hitler was a Revolutionary.
What he did for Germany economically is unprecedented in world history.
Most of Hitler's economics have been continued after WW2 in western Europe and it has been one of the main reasons life in western Europe has been so easy for so many people in the last 60 years, in spite of the enormous, devastating destructions of World War 2.
It has been said by many historians that if Hitler had died in 1939, he would now be considered one the greatest Europeans in the 20th century. (Meaning ww2 would have never happened and the Jews would not have been slaughtered.)
Donald Trump is an Anti-Revolutionary. Ultra-Conservative.
He wants America to stay the way it is, and restore some things of the past as well.
(It's exactly the same in France. "Front National" is ultra-conservative. Not Revolutionary in any way)
The fake liberals and global corporate controlled media who are attacking Trump are in fact the real Revolutionaries.
If you read and listen closely to the current Elites in Europe & America, people from CFR & similar institutions, they have some very Revolutionary ideas for the world.
To them, the idea of nation states is something that must ultimately change.
They support mass immigration because it is good for corporations and big business.
These are anti-democratic forces and to them the best way to break democracy is the break up those strong democratic nations.
All i am saying is let's at least be accurate in how we describe things in discussions.
Calling Trump a "new Hitler" is inaccurate and only serves forces that do not have our collective best interests at heart.

For example, I don't consider Trump to be particularly conservative (supported Democrats in the recent past, and most of his supporters are self-described moderate Republicans). A decade before taking power, Hitler was openly, in writing, describing Jews as Satanic and wanted them removed. Making Trump-Hitler comparisons is quite simply stupid. It isn't even worth analyzing why.

2 RespuestasIt doesn't matter if hes hitler. What matters is all the idiots who actually support him. Like honestly he says so much without saying anything at all. People complain obama isnt qualified in running the country. A man who spent most of his life in the political system. Where in the hell is trump qualified?

You're right, Hilter had some good ideas, after all.

A hitler was inevitable with the conditions given to the Germans after WWI People are talking about the monitoring of a group. Aka white sash, (Lebanese) and the Jewish star (you can guess). Labeling is wrong all around that leads to generalizations of someone as well as objectifying as a product rather than a human being. Trump also plays on fear and hate so there is no denying that no matter what you say.

Ah feck it everyone is hittler
