No actually I worked my way up the pay ladder. Started at 750, moved to 8.20, then to 9.25 then to 13 then to 15+ Its not hard. You constantly look for better jobs. People who want their burger flipper jopb to pay more are dumb and lazy and dont deserve higher pay

15+? Wow.... are you 15? Where i am the minimum wage for a 15 year old is 18.38 and for a 20 yo its 22.50. No matter what job it is.... its what is deemed the minimum for people to live on wothout finding another job. I respect your motivation and work ethic. I do. But the 15 an hour thing is laughable all over the western world.

I used to. I denounced my citizenship after working for 10 years with doctors without borders. I realised there was little hope for my country of origin. Totalitarian police states was where i worked, they reminded me if home. I married an australian, i am now australian. The difference is vast. Free education, free health care, high base wage, minimal polution. No one resents another citizen for doing basic work, no mass shootings, ridiculously low unemployment... it is much less elitist... they even have a thing called the tall poppy syndrome, where the big talkers get shit down by the whole community. It works.

The average wage in the us varies from state to state....remember? It is not federally governed. ... tall poppy syndrome does NOT target well spoken educated people. It means its a no skill job and doesn't deserve to give $15 wages. If you can't do anything besides flip burgers, that's your own damn fault. Wanna know what my first $15+hr job was? In a foundry, doing skilled work. If you think something like that is comparable to flipping burgers, that's because you're only smart enough to flip burgers.

Considering this was in a small town in Alabama where the minimum wage TODAY is under $8, the fact I said $15+, not $15 and this was years ago, your statement is invalid. If I went back to the same job today, it'd be closer to $30.
