I was gonna come back to destiny to check out sparrow racing, race some friends, and earn loot in the process. Then I saw that this is just another cash grab. To think I actually thought Bungie made something free to the players especially after cashing in on microtransactions, LOL. This is the nail in the coffin for destiny, at least for me. The thing that sickens me most is they go around saying FREE EVENT IN DESTINY!! And then in small print whispering "oh but if you want any of the gear then bend over" -blam!-n Bungie man, disappointment after disappointment
Edit: I care that they add microtransactions everywhere now
Edit: People think I care if it's pay to win, I do, but that's not the point. I CARE ABOUT THE PRACTICES BUNGIE IS USING! There shouldn't be this many microtransactions in a AAA game
Edit: The problem for me lies with people accepting and glorifying Bungie for microtransactions. This glorification of a shit system could give Bungie the confidence to keep pushing the boundaries with microtransactions and yes THIS is jumping to conclusions

Yeah, those microtransactions are pretty harsh! Now starting KF HM, must have 320 racing gear (not the droppables that scrublords get...the vanity items from Tess), slow clap and Thriller dance emote and at least 5 legendary masks from the festival. Oh wait, now that I look at it, the microtransactions are minor inconsequential vanity items that if I want to spend a few dollars on it does nothing to affect the gameplay. That's like saying if I buy a skin in League or whatever it'll jump me to diamond rank. Best three bucks I ever spent.

The ONLY thing that's being sold for silver, is COSMETIC at best. Everything else CAN (and most already HAVE) earned in normal gameplay WITHOUT buying anything extra. The sparrows being sold have the same stats as the ones we've already earned. The gear, is 3 light. The lowest light gear I've seen recently was 267, from a blue engram. It's not 'pay to win', it's 'pay to have a pink sparrow and matching boots' lmao

2 RespuestasYou're to sensitive. It's a video game calm down Felicia

Editado por KimHasselager: 12/8/2015 8:35:29 AMIt apparently is also just for ttk- i got it but some may not. That blows lol

1 RespuestaAll the gear DOES drop free from just the races. The "Book" gear is just cosmetically different and drops at "3" light. Better to get the free gear over that and dump resources anyways. Plus, only the helm and class item have light levels. I think you just need to loosen those pants of yours before you become a permanent tenor.

5 RespuestasThey have them in halo 5 too. I think it's going to be the new thing for gaming.
-
This many? Battlefield gas more, cod has more but then i suppose their stuff will be usefull no matter how long you have it,the sparrow stuff will be dead the day after event ends.
-
10 RespuestasToo many micro transactions? It's only the second one. Oh, sry. Thought this was about micro transactions. Didn't realise it was just attention seeking. My mistake.
-
2 RespuestasNo one cares if you come back or not. You act like you're some celebrity and you're needed for people to be able to play Destiny. Bye.
-
9 Respuestas1st. Not pay to win. You can get the fastest sparrow from the quest. 2nd. What pay wall? It completely free.
-
Why shouldn't there be money making opportunities in a business based in money making? It's not like Bungie is a non profit organization. If you don't like it don't buy it.. If it doesn't work for the business, it will fail. End of story. Put your grown up pants on and stop crying.
-
The money spending pars only gets you PvE set of gear that starts at 3 defense and isn't any better than the stuff you can earn.
-
The microtransactions are for unique gear. You can get racing gear for free. People conveniently forget the fact that the fine print has the word "some" in it.
-
3 RespuestasWhy does everyone bitch about micros in destiny but not in halo when both games are made by bungie?
-
6 RespuestasYou arent required to pay to race.
-
3 RespuestasYou don't need to buy anything. You can get the fear without it. The only things you get with micro transactions and cosmetic things that do absolutely nothing
-
4 RespuestasIt's amazing how many clueless people there are in this community. Jump to conclusions much?

8 RespuestasExplain this to me. How is this sparrow racing any different that war zone for Halo 5 in terms of micro transactions
-
8 RespuestasEditado por WmShakespeare: 12/8/2015 2:56:13 AMI think you can race and NOT have to pay. It's called racing for shits and giggles, also known as fun. This shit is getting thin, there are some things about Destiny that all players don't agree with, but hell man, if you want to race, race and don't jump on the micro transaction bus, just stop bitching so much, its not like Bungie is a bunch of stick-up guys, they're not making you fork over your wallet.

1 RespuestaYou do realize you don't have to pay? I know it's rocket science right?

1 RespuestaYou probably get legendary engrams from being at the bottom of the leaderboard.
