So, I've played Destiny since Christmas and goddammit, I enjoyed it. However, due to the fact I live in the UK where TTK is the equivalent of $60, I never bought it, choosing to spend my time on Arkham Knight instead. Now, Xbox is offering it for £30. Should I go for it? Is it worth it? Honest opinions please.

1 RespuestaOnly get it if u have people to play it with who are willing to help you through some of the tougher missions. Bungie did not make this dlc easy to solo and in order to get some of the better exotics you really do need a good high level team to get through. The biggest attraction to the taken king is the raid. So make sure you have a team who can help you through that too

3 RespuestasGet Fallout 4 instead.

1 RespuestaWhy do farts smell ?

1 RespuestaIt should only be the equivalent of $40 if you already have the game. You don't want the full game, you want just the TTK expansion. There are 2 different downloads for TTK. The full game that has ALL expansion, which you don't need. And the expansion version that has only TTK upgrade. That's the want you want.

1 RespuestaLol you dummy on Saturday it was on sale for $51 for the digital collectors edition (normally $79.99) should have got it then :P
-
2 RespuestasWait for a bundle with the next DLC there is a strong possibility that Bungie will tell us about it this weekend @ PSX
-
Be my refer a friend buddy! 😀

2 RespuestasIf you like Destiny then buy it..If you are starting to slowly get bored with it, don't buy it..Simple as that
-
Save it. It is fun at first but gets boring real quickly. Save your money and buy just cause 3 or fallout

3 RespuestasEditado por sola gratia: 12/1/2015 6:29:46 PMThe people saying yes are probably half brain dead, do not buy this worthless trash. You'd probably get more bang for your buck on Feeding Frenzy. This game is an overpriced piece of garbage where the people who made the game put zero effort into it and they continue to time gate content and do other things to artificallly extend gameplay time so they can sit on their asses longer and do nothing for the game until they make more half assed garbage with an unreasonably high price tag.
-
At this point I would wait if I were you.
-
Really not worth the money
-
Do you still enjoy Destiny? Then yes, get it. Is the grind becoming too much for you? Then don't. It's the same game you've been playing for a year, with more content. If you think that the money you spent on Vanilla was worth it, then TTK is as well.
-
I vote yes, I feel I have more than got my money's worth from it. Still play it, and still really enjoy it, much more than year one. As you'll see from other comments, however, it is not perfect so your mileage may vary.
-
I'd wait. It's kind of butts in its current state.
-
I've previously seen it @ £26 at Tesco and Amazon for the Legendary Edition, but still didn't seem a worthwhile investment. In fairness, three people offered it for free when the refer a friend scheme was introduced, but I rejected. If you post advertising yourself as a referee looking for a veteran to buy you the DLC, some sorry soul will likely offer to buy you it.
-
I still think 30£ is too much for ttk. I enjoyed it but half the things of ttk are useless after a week of playing it. But if you're not tied with your finances and you really like destiny go for it. Also i hope you got friends to play with.

2 RespuestasDon't listen to the salt man. You get hours and hours of gameplay outta this. Some people just have fun being mad about something and choose destiny.

reBump! More opinions!
-
Yeah man do it. My friend did the same. £30 is a great price for it!
-
If you like the game then yes. But you might want to wait because Bungie might announce the next dlc at psx. There might be a new bundle that comes with everything.

1 RespuestaIts an improvement over normal Destiny, but not worth $60
