Nerfs because of crucible
Does anyone else feel like everything is getting nerfed for [b]CRUCIBLE[/b]. May just be me but I know in right. Thorn was nerfed for [b]CRUCIBLE[/b] and shotguns were nerfed for [b]CRUCIBLE[/b] the perk shot package was taken out of the game because yep you guessed it [b]CRUCIBLE[/b] . When the game first came out suros regime was amazing Bungie nerfed it because it was good in [b]CRUCIBLE[/b]. Pulse rifles are getting a Nerf soon because of [b]CRUCIBLE[/b]. Hopefully we get this seen by bungie so they don't Nerf guns because of [b]CRUCIBLE[/b]. Also this isn't because I'm butthurt about a certain gun I was good with.

1 RespuestaGjallarhorn and Icebreaker are the only guns nerfed for PvE. As much as I think the Shotgun murder will help Crucible, I can't help but be annoyed that my Chaperone, Next Big Thing, Immobius, and numerous others are going to be useless in Frontier.

I agree It looks like we are going full circle and back to auto rifles being the main weapons. Pvp and pve should be seperate are bungie to lazy to implement this or is it just too hard.

4 RespuestasThorn was nerfed because of overuse, ask anyone who played year one trials. Shot package was removed because bungie is trying to find the sweet spot for shotgun range. Shotguns have been nerfed due to overuse. Look at grenades and horseshoes perk on launchers it got nerfed due to overuse because everyone rolled their launchers to have it. The fact many nerfs happen are do to overuse by the masses. Pulse rifles became like thorn, shottys are still the most used special weapon and they are both getting hit with the nerf bat.

3 RespuestasThat is true. I wish they would separate pvp and pve. Like the thorn poison wasn't that great in pve actually. Now patrol cosmodrome fallen lv4 enemies enjoy their acupuncture. Seriously. And also the shotgun nerf is gonna hurt pve A WHOLE LOT; slower movement speed ads, range. What will be the point. Next target. Snipers. High aim assist. Litc gets balanced but people will just move on to 1k stare, that will be the only sniper in crucible. -> over usage means nerf. I don't like it. It is a vicious cycle and many more good weapons will suffer a "power creep". Too sad for this game. Partially why people leave this game as well.

5 RespuestasIf you read the tuning notes for the December update, they are increasing the damage multiplier to ai combatants for the guns that are getting nerfed. What this means is, we shouldn't see a change in damage in PvE.

1 RespuestaBlack Hammer While technically not an exotic, this weapon was chased as if it were. Currently it is the only Sniper Rifle that is more capable of ending a PvE boss faster than Ice Breaker. Changes: Increase ammo inventory to 18 rounds White Nail perk now pulls ammo from your inventory not all nerfs are because of PvP. Ice Breaker was a PvE nerf. Suros was wrongly nerfed due to bungie having an auto rifle centric bounty every iron banner, falsely inflating the Suros usage numbers. Thorn deserved it's nerf.

1 RespuestaThey buffed pulse rifles damage against AI to compensate for the damage reduction. They over buffed shotguns in PVE in 1.1.1. Autos were too good in everything during vanilla. Thorn actually got a net PVE buff because of how the burn stacks. Fusions got a AI damage buff. You were saying?
