Here are the ones that come to mind. Feel free to add your own.
Bungie - Once a reliable provider of fun games with rich stories, now a glorified casino operator with a story so bare that the mere existence of cutscenes in TTK was enough to get people excited.
BioWare - Once the purveyor of quality RPGs with some of the best writing in the industry, they've tanked hard since their acquisition by EA. Three high profile failures in a row (DA2, SW:TOR, and ME3) absolutely killed their reputation with gamers. They're making a slight comeback with Inquisition and the new ME game, but will it be enough to recapture their old glory?
Rare - Once the greatest Nintendo developer outside of Nintendo itself, now a glorified shill for Kinect. They did come out with that anthology collection recently, but that's a rehash of past successes built by long-departed staff, so it doesn't count as a comeback.
id Software - Last classic game was published in 1999. Doom 3 was a good game, but did not meet the expectations of the fans. Rage was shit. Now they're rehashing an old franchise in the hopes that they can win back their old aging fans.
Valve - Do they even make video games anymore?

I play Destiny for better or worse. I enjoyed DA: Inquisition, but you're right about DA2 I do miss the old Rare. I dunno, I thought Rage was awesome. The ending was a letdown and I was sad that they cancelled the sequel, but still. CDPR seems to try to be good to their fans still. I'm really enjoying Fallout 4 as well. To be honest, the games we have these days are considerably more complex and graphically amazing. Given that the prices haven't really gone up for 20 years or more, we're getting something of a bargain at $60 for games these days. $60 in 1990 dollars is $109 of 2015 dollars, for some perspective. Just my thoughts.

2 RespuestasDice haven't made a good game since BFBC2...

1 RespuestaMass Effect 3 wasn't bad, it just wasn't as good as 1 or 2, and even then a lot of people don't like it just for the ending, and that isn't enough for me to boycott them
Mass Effect 4 hype!
-
To be honest except for the ending Mass Effect 3 wasn't even that bad. It was much easier than the other two, but it was still a pretty good game. They did manage to find a nice middle ground between a 3PS and an RPG for a while there. The ending absolutely killed it though.

3 RespuestasNone thinks both call of duty developers have fallen from grace? Sure people still turn out in droves to buy the newest doodie but none of the games capture my attention since MW2.
-
Bungie takes first place, but Ubisoft is up there.

6 RespuestasSay what you will, but I enjoyed every aspect of mass effect 3 even the end. As far as the topic goes, konami seems to be doing a pretty good job of removing themselves from the gaming scene by pretty much blacklisting the man who made their company great.

4 RespuestasAm I the only one who liked SWTOR? ;-;

7 RespuestasWhy is BioWare even on this list? Really they are still the pinnacle of Western RPGs with their story telling. Dragon Age 2 only failed because of the constant reused environments. Mass Effect 3 is one the the greatest WRPGs out there even with the train wreck of an ending. SW: TOR had its fair share of problems but wasn't a failure.

SWTOR and ME3 were amazing.

Editado por DigitalNinja: 11/19/2015 6:38:07 PMI don't think bioware fell that much compared to the others.

7 RespuestasEditado por ClanKilla187: 11/17/2015 10:50:34 PMBungie for sure regret ever considering myself one of there fanboys. You forgot to mention volition now know by dsvolition after being bought out by deep silver. They founded the Saints row series and we all know how that turned out...
went down hill after saints row 2
2 RespuestasI remember when Sierra made awesome games. Midway used to make some really fun games as well. NFL Blitz was my jam back in the day.

4 RespuestasI think it's more of the fact that people are more critical and less that developers got worse

Capcom: I don't think I need to go over why they bite scrotum, but I will anyway. While Capcom started off strong as a company that made quality games (Street Fighter, Megaman, Darkstalkers, Devil May Cry, Resident Evil) and listened to their fanbase, they have since degraded significantly. They became greedy and known for exploiting their fans and ignoring what they want. Let's hit a highlight reel. After Super Street Fighter 4 launched, rather than simply patch the game like any other game company would, they decided to release the Ultra Edition. So if you wanted an actual balanced game, you would have to pay Capcom even more money to get them as well as a handful of new characters and features. They then went on and released Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, which had rather a lot of on-disc DLC. When people went and data mined the disc, found the DLC, and made YouTube videos about it, they got those people banned. I'm not even going to even go into Asura's Wrath, and we're going to ignore Megaman, because that's what Capcom's doing with all the fans. On a side note: You ever realized that when Capcom makes a ton of on-disc DLC, people metaphorically burn them at the stake, but when Bungie does it with Destiny and blatantly exploits it's fans, everyone just kind of shrugs.

2 RespuestasEditado por Malygos: 11/18/2015 9:38:49 AMDice bad company 1 and 2 are still amongst my favorite shooters ever then from 3 until now battlefield has been awful. Ubisoft and everything to do with them i loved ghost recon, rainbow six and splinter cell they could do no wrong by me until vegas 2 and the awfulness that became splinter cell. Glad to see ghosts and rainbow six come back so well see. Konami I'm old enough that i played the original metal gear solid on ps 1 even still have the pizza hut demo disc before it launched I've spent thousands of hours on their game only to see mgs 5 be a total joke to the series and konami shit on kojima. I cant even type enough words to describe this. Well after that you guessed -blam!-ing capcom another company that you scratch your head and just say wtf. Also wanna know where micro transactions come in go check capcom ps1 discs with the hint hotline for 1.35 a minute. I could go on but ill spare you my weeping
