The time for me has come as it had come to others. I finally feel burned out of this game. I even levelled up my warlock today to 40. After that I realized that it's all the same shit.
Feels a little bit boring honestly.
Edit: I am a year one player. This is the first time playing destiny that I've felt like I've burnt myself out of content.

1 RespuestaIt's battlefront time
-
1 Respuestaare you a pve only player?
-
1 RespuestaStarted Fallout 4 when it dropped - haven't stopped since - so very, very satisfying on a level that Destiny has yet to touch. I just wanted to peek into the forums to see if anything's changed - I was unsurprised to see that nothing had changed.

1 RespuestaI am in the same mindset as you. I loved Destiny, this game gave me a lot of fun since sept 2014. I stopped playing right in the middle of the last IB, I just noticed I wasn't experiencing the fun as I I had for the last year. I am still going to leave everything as it is in my hard drive in hopes that Bungie could pull a rabbit out of Activisions hat. What really put the dagger in the heart of this game I really loved was noticing that we payed for a full DLC ( House of Wolves), then year 2 comes in and everything we were grinding and doing as invalid. PoE was totally disregarded, weapon reforging from the gunsmith was not needed ( zero point for year 1 legendaries), no need for etheric light, this list goes on and on. The year 1 raids and missing strikes just lazily not brought up to Year 2 standards was, in my eyes just very lazy piss poor programming. If 3 strikes could have been brought up to year 2 standards why couldn't the programmers just do all of them this way? We paid twice ( some of use 3 times ) the normal DLC rate! I'm sorry my rant is taking over, anyway I hope you all get the jist of what I'm trying to say. I really loved Destiny for what it was and I even talked some friends at work into buying it and the DLC's! Now I'm just looking forward to all the new games coming down the pipe ( Fallout 4, battlefront, just cause 3, hopefully the division if Ubisoft can get their heads out of their asses, lol ). Thanks for the space to rant, I do agree with the OPs post. I hope Bungie will read this post as well.

Rise of the Tomb Raider!

It happens. Take a break. Play other games. I quit for a month or two. I was burnt and bored. TTK was an improvement and is holding my interest. Don't grind as much. Just play the game and let things happen. I haven't completed hard mode raid. I've completed normal but not the whole raid straight through. I've been working on the quest lines with my hunter - had more with him (Dead Orbit quest). I didn't stress out on ToM... I helped several people get theirs. I got mine last night without grinding for it... everything just fell into place. The nonstop grind will burn you out eventually.

Editado por RammerJammer327: 11/16/2015 1:30:27 PMreading the comments in this thread looks like an alcohol's anonymous meeting if you're burnt out then take a break and wait for new content or just......quit. You don't have to bash the game you used to love, not many games keeps their player base's engaged for over a year.

As soon as halo 5 dropped and I did my traditional, legendary run within 24hours and stepped into the multiplayer I knew that destiny was dead to me
-
A LOT of people are feeling the same way, dude.
-
Around 1700 hours of gameplay, I am getting burnt out. Did everything and accomplished as much as I can. Finally playing and putting time into Halo 5, BOIII and soon Doom when it'll be released. I love Destiny and what it brings, but I just can't handle the ridiculous drops and year 2 pvp.
-
Last week for me. I played since day one and went through two different consoles but now I'm done. Well for now.
-
1 RespuestaYep I've put well over a thousand hours in and haven't been able to turn the game on in about a week or so. Even when I popped in then, I just got aggravated after 20 minutes because I realized I wasn't having fun. I love destiny and want to enjoy it (hell, it's the reason I got an Xbox one and payed for live a few weeks after it came out - my roommate in college got it and I played a char on his account at first). It's like looking back at a marriage of happiness and just realizing that you no longer love her and you've spent so much time of your life on it. Honestly, I'd love to start enjoying destiny again... Just don't know what it is anymore.

2 RespuestasI think the quest for Gally used to keep me excited. I honestly enjoyed Prison of Elders more than the Kings fall raid. THey need to make year 1 stuff relevant again. Level 42 Crotas end would be awesome!

2 RespuestasWait for Iron Banner on tuesday.

4 RespuestasJust take a break and come back with next expansion bro.

Comfort you Imagine somewhere calm Imagine somewhere safe Imagine yourself in a frozen forest You're standing in a clearing Trees around you so tall, they touch the sky Pure white snowflakes fall all around You can feel them melt on your skin You are not cold It cannot overcome the warmth of your beating heart Can you hear it? You only have to listen You hear it slowing? You're slowing it You are in control Calm. At peace[

3 RespuestasYeah man, I know how u feel. I remember getting excited about reset and doing VoG and CE, NF, and even POE. These days, I lack the motivation to even log into Destiny. The thrill is gone.

Same I'm moving on but hopefully I get pulled back in
-
Yep. Just waiting for battlefront on Tuesday for a change of pace

3 RespuestasWhat do you do when you are burnt out with anything else in life?
-
Editado por Cqalla: 11/16/2015 3:13:18 AMI feel your pain man. I've done pretty much everything I just feel bored with the game. I've had it since day one and haven't ever felt like this. Even though TTK was so good. It's depressing lol This whole post is depressing, my favorite game for a whole year might be actually dying. I never thought it would actually happen after all the hate. Really sad
-
3 RespuestasI know how you feel - it finally dawned on me this evening, whilst playing crucible, that I wasn't actually having fun any more. There's still stuff I could do - never really bothered doing Skolas in the POE, and I've only really dabbled in the KF raid - but I've got bored of trying to find teams to run with, as the majority of my friends have moved onto other games. Trials was fun, got to the lighthouse year one, but no longer have a team to run it with, and the matchmaking is so bad it hardly seems worth it. I've only got one character to lvl 40 and just can't be bothered to level the others. I've just ordered Fallout. Think it might be time for a break from Destiny.

I've been on break for about a week playing other games. I was feeling burnt out also still haven't felt the need to get back on.

1 RespuestaEditado por Syronck: 11/16/2015 2:20:01 AMThis is my 4th burnout. And unlike the rest of them, I actually don't have a desire to get on. I procrastinated doing my last exotic sword, and it's currently been waiting since Wednesday for me to go do the Alak Hul stuff with it, but I just don't care. I took a week and a half off for Halo 5, and only got off because I got all the achievements. I played for a bit again, beat the hard raid finally with my group, got the last achievement here (The only reason we've still been going this long was to beat hard, we just didn't have good enough drops for DPS at the end) and now we're all taking a break from Destiny. Fallout 4 and Halo 5 reminded me how a story is supposed to make me feel, and what fun is again, rather than getting on and grinding like it's a chore. Why I'd always get burnt out in Pokemon. I'd beat it and start the 'catch 'em all' process and just put so much time in, I'd burn out. Honestly, not even missing it. I'm sure I'll pop on again before the next DLC drops, but the loot drops from this new raid, the time-gated exotics, and a few grimoire cards not unlocking have my group just done for now. I hope you have fun with your break, though. I have been.
