Thank you for curing my addiction, Bungie.

I haven't played Destiny since October 23. It may not seem like much, but I was flat out addicted to this game. It was at one point the only thing I would do with my free gaming time.. That is until Bungie shot themselves in the foot about 13 times in a row. I won't go into full absolute detail, but between the time-gated quests, time-gated exotics, locked armor exotics that still aren't in the game, crap raid and nightfall drops, no elemental primaries, raid gear being worse than vendor gear other than light levels, lying about keeping track of the drops you have so that next time you'll get something better, re-skinning a legendary weapon from last year and making it into an exotic with a dumbed down perk, no guaranteed drops from hard mode- All of these things are bad decisions in my opinion.. I know some people might like these ideas, but it's such a slimy thing to do to get people to keep playing. The new raid drop system is slot-machine simulator at its finest. I'm not gonna go delete my characters and say im leaving, but I will leave them where they are, and hopefully Bungie will make some sort of announcement that will impress me as much as the hype they built before The Taken King came out; I highly doubt this because that will be pretty hard to top. All I know is that I haven't had a feeling of need nor want to play this game. I was pretty addicted, but Bungie found a way to get me to stop playing their game, and I applaud them for that, because no one has ever gotten me to stop playing it before. Once again, as the title says, thank you, Bungie, for curing my Destiny addiction.
