Why? I really don't understand all this dislike for a strategy. Did you call for them to fix the ledge strategy on HM Crota? Because that's mostly what this is except everyone still has to execute correctly instead of only needing two people to know what they're doing.
If you don't want to do it then make your own group and advertise up front that you're doing the "kill the knights" strategy. Enough people prefer it that you'll get a group that does it your way
After that why do you care how someone else kills it legitimately?

Because have we forgot this is what the bungie community is about!! whining and crying till they get there way. I have never seen a community so needy in all my time playing any game whether pc our consul.

Then I'd expect them to listen to you now as much as they did then. That was a legitimate strategy then, approved by Bungie. This is a legitimate strategy now. And on a personal note, why you care how people beat it legitimately is beyond me. You're one of the worst types of players, and we should all thank our chosen dieties that Bungie isn't likely to listen to you.

They approved it implicitly by not forcing us to kill the boomers or deal with the witches. They approved it explicitly when they had a movie of the week which was a hard mode kill that didn't kill the boomers. As for embarrassment, that didn't stop them changing the original Atheon strategy teleport. But it's good to know that you're so stuck in your ways you can't imagine how you could possibly be wrong and will make any excuse to avoid facing that possibility.

They didn't stop you from doing it, so yes I believe that means they approved that approach to crota.
