The Chaperone bounty.
Bungie, please. Just. Fix the first step of this bounty. It is completely unfair to people who simply cannot use The Last Word for the life of them. I'm almost having a mental breakdown over here because I just cannot progress the bounty at all and I really want The Chaperone. The first step of the bounty is simply rage inducing for me and it's not a fun bounty by any means.

Thank god they made it for a shotgun. I've not even equipped the last word since I tried it after nerf

You only need to have the last word equipped, trying using a special thats good ora heavy.

There are certain maps you can use it on just play some crucible and use it on those maps I got it done when no one was using pulse rifles

This is like the 20th piss and moan rant abouth the chaperone quest line I have read. And this coming from a player who sucks with hand cannons, didn't read the quest step closer enough, used the last word and still got it done in like three matches. But, my ability to overcome doesn't matter. What matters is that people would rather whine about a quest than ask for help/hints about the quest

3 RespuestasAll the advice about only equipping TLW when you have heavy ammo is the way to do it, once I did it this way, I got through it pretty quick. I never got a single kill with TLW completing the quest because I am terrible at PvP. The really hard one is the First Curse quest.

4 RespuestasHere's what you do man. But plz spread this over a few matches. I play lots of pvp but my friends don't so when they were about to have a rage melt down what we did is the following. . Get a fireteam together and jump into Rumble and find each other. Your K/D or whatever you want to call it only goes up or down whenever you have The last word equipped. Keep that in mind.

1 RespuestaI used to be like you, thinking that bungie should fix or nerfed the first part of the step, and everytime I get around 60% I drop down to 30%, and back and forth. With that being said of course I raged, who wants to work those percentages again? But the best and honest pro tip for you and others struggling on the first part, is play when your in a more calm or relaxed mood, being all pissy and having rage fits over it isn't going to get you anywhere. If you have to take 2 days to do it then do it(it did for me), play it safe, get your heavy and supers and don't die.

Wait till mayhem clash Select Hunter class Equip the helmet that gives you four shots Equip last word Find a corner next to heavy ammo crate CAMP Use golden gun shots and rockets with grenades and horse shoes Kill others with heavy Grab more heavy Continue process. Jump in air for joy Make man boobs jiggle Repeat Should take like 3-4 games depending on how many kills you get

It's meant to be hard, this exotic shotgun is meant to be earned. I'll depend on my skills then pray on RnG. But anyway, my tips to you are to NEVER DIE, and if you cannot do that then your best bet is skirmish. Play matches, and when you die once or twice switch off, finish the match, repeat. I got 40% from a single game due to a 10 kill streak I got. I cannot stress enough the importance of NOT DYING.

I cleared it by equipping TLW only after I had a super charged, using super for a multikill, then immediately hiding and unequipping TLW. It's a little tedious, but far less so than repeatedly seeing your progress reset to zero after a single bad game.

I know the struggle. I had only two quests remaining on my Warlock, this one and the the First Curse quest. I took a day to do just this quest. I got lucky and managed to do 51% in one match (multikills with your super are your friend). The next few matches saw my percentage fall to 33%. I finally finished it later in the day.

Equip last word. Equip shotgun. Choose stormcaller. Have 100% intellect. Enter mayhem. Kill with shotgun/super only Profit
