Finally I got my dream nightfall reward!
I was blessed this week and happened to obtain a 290 ghost shell! Turns out the patch to fix nightfall rewards did a great job! Rewards are much much better.

1 RespuestaNightfall reward expectations are so high its idiotic. This is a 3 person, medium difficulty, 20 minute activity in a game that uses a RNG loot system. Somehow though, the general Destiny population thinks they should be getting hard mode quality gear, on every character, every time. Is it a bummer when you come across a string of bad loot luck? Sure, but use your brains a little.

Got my 7th Hawkmoon and 9th Crest of Alpha Lupi... Both at 290, even though the characters that they dropped on were 305 and 308 light when they dropped... Other one dropped a 292 ghost shell... Getting really tired of this new "smart" loot system... Only thing that seems "smarter" about it is it's ability to consistently give you things that you already have at lower levels and with worse perk rolls...

Just like the smart loot system that was put in for Y2 I have beaten Oryx 6 times and yes both norm and hard and I got a 310 auto rifle as the best drop from him... RNG hates me...

Since the patch I have gotten a 308 Fusion Rifle, a 310 Last Word, and one legendary that just became weapon parts. You're just have bad luck at the moment.

The patch added 10 light to base weapons as rewards, so the base weapon/ armor drop is 290
