Defiance of Yasmin into 1000 Yard Stare???
Should I infuse my 314 arc Yasmin into my 308 1000 Yard Stare? The destiny infusion Calculator says it will become 314 but I didn't want it to go down. I'm also wondering how worth it the cocoon perk is as I actually appreciated it in the raid last night. Any help and opinions are appreciated!

Yes. Defiance of Yasmin is pretty awful and the 1000 yard stare is a much better sniper.

I did. 1000 has better stats.

17 RespuestasInfusing always gives 80%. So 308 to 314 is a 6 unit difference. 80% of 6. : 0.6*8=4.8 which would round to 5. Your sniper should be 313 after infusing. But I just infused a 310 into my 304 1000 yard stare and it became 310 which means it was full credit. Either way, your sniper will either be 313 or 314. Doesn't matter which value. One attack unit will not make a difference.

I did and it took my 1,000 Yard Stare to 310. I already have a 319 Harrowed Defiance though so if you have only one I wouldn't do it.

I prefer DoY to 1,000 Yard myself. Cocoon is pretty useful with ToM and Qullim's

Cocoon is brilliant for the oryx fight when you are running ogres. I switch between ToM, raid sniper, and raid machine gun. Switch weapons between every ogre and the weapons are reloaded by the time you come back to them, it's awesome.

DEFINITELY!! My 319 1000 Yard Stare really helps alot in the raid.

When you get that stupid fusion raid rifle use that instead. As you said yasmin helped you in the raid why then get rid of it.

I infused my 310 into my 1000 y/s... However that' mainly because I also have a 310 Harrowed Sniper.....

1 RespuestaI have infused all my raid weapons into other guns. I can't ever seem to get decent perk rolls on raid weps. I would because impact is a lot better on stare.

I infused mine into my Black Spindle after I got it. Imo it's got it's uses with the Will of Light and Cocoon perks, but they're minimal. There's better snipers with better stats. Example: 1000 Yard and Spindle.

I have both but I like the feel of unloading my Yasmin, then swapping to the heavy or primary until the coon perk kicks in and it's ready to go again, meaning no loss of dps at all..
