Well for the older gamers I'm 28, we didn't have Xbox live when halo 1 released. We went to friends houses to play, so it was the story, co op, and 4-16 player multiplayer. Halo 2 introduced X box live, which was amazing! It's disappointing reading all these comments talking about only PVP cause halo once had a good campaign, and story. I can't really see the comparison to destiny because destiny is more of an RPG MMO, while halo is just PVP like cod. It won't beat destiny though I love halo. When halo can create you own Spartan and becomes an RPG like destiny than maybe.
I saw the commercial too, it was disappointing watching it, they copied destiny and was like look we can smash the ground too. They should have came up with something new.

How did they copy Destiny at all?
-
Before you get all butt hurt, I enjoy the TTK DLC, and destiny. The Titan ground pound out the air, wasn't that Destiny's last commercial?
-
I think he's referring to the ground pound mechanic. Looks reminiscent of a Titan Smash (Fist of Havok).
-
Spartans were able to do that in lore for years also Destiny copied other games with the Ground Pound.
-
Agreed! the ground pound ain't new "Mario". so Halo should have made the sonic dash new again, or something.
-
Really? Damn I didn't even know that. I really need to get around to buying all the older books so I can catch up on all the lore. A lot of it seems to be coming into play now that 343i is at the helm.
-
343I is making the game more fast paced, the other Halos were much slower than 343I Halo.
-
After playing the Beta, I do admit the quicker pace was intense, and actually a lot more fun.
-
Lan parties that was awsome. Don't remember the group but they made it possible to play multilayer over the net just lagged and everyone used rockets.
-
It seems like a game where you would have to really love pvp to make it the only game you play. Whereas rpg's really become your go to game even if you don't like pvp

I remember those days we stay up for hours on my friends projection TV.
