Here's the scenario:
One guy joins you team for kings fall. He's 305 light and has no mic. He sends you a message saying that he's completed Every part but oryx because he can't find a team. He's got good raid gear and most of the fire team is saying to kick him. Do you kick him or let him stay?

Nope booted get good
-
Um I think that he good for raid but I would not have beacuse of him having no mic
-
Well he has tried oryx then yes but he could just be on ad control so yeah :D
-
1 RespuestaIs a vote for yes saying "yes I'll kick him" or is it saying "yes I'll let him stay"? Vague poll is vague.
-
Let him stay provided he knows the fight mechanics. The oryx fight isn't very hard, so as long as he's responding to directions and call outs, he would be fine. I might ask him to be on add duty just in case though.
-
You need teamwork to do oryx. Sometimes you need to call out. No mic = no call outs. Get a mic there like $10-$20
-
Yes because of no mic
-
I would give him a chance to prove himself.
-
Test him, take him into the raid and if he knows what he's doing keep him, if you think he looks like he doesn't know, kick him
-
Innocent until proven guilty, pro until proven scrub?
-
I don't care if u don't know how to even play the damn game, I would still help you. However, I will kick if there is no mic.

Editado por puppyk1sses: 10/22/2015 10:36:14 PMIf you have no mic, AND have not completed Oryx, that's a solid no from me. I hate to sound snobby but usually 1 person who is new to the fight even with a mic is going to make the Oryx fight alone take an 30mins-1hr, or more. I put in all these painstaking hours on the raid up front so I don't have to spend 3-5hr raid sessions anymore. Frankly, I never have that much time in one sitting, without pulling some major strings with the fiancé. It's not worth it, if you get what I mean. There's a reason I only raid with experienced people, and it's not just to stroke my own ego and act 1337. The prospect of someone that can't confirm any of the communications you are sending them, whilst needing a full tutorial sounds terrible to me.

let him have a run or 2, if he's not getting it he's out
-
Your answers dont answer the question you want us to answer....and yes i will let him stay

Editado por III R17 III: 10/22/2015 10:24:03 PMMake him kill adds, that's it. So, help with ogres etc.
-
Editado por JohnnyMac: 10/22/2015 10:23:39 PM"Do you kick him or let him stay?" Yes. "That doesn't answer the question." Yes.
-
You don't need a mic to be the permanent floater. Give three person a role that requires the least talking as long as they can hear party chat.
-
I don't allow people to join unless I send the invite or give someone express permission. So, sorry Randy.
-
If he can hear the explanation, what's the problem?
-
People who have no mic but listen well is very rare to come by but we have a guy who can do this
-
I played with a guy who wasn't able to join out party so we messaged him what job to do and he did it...he was only 295, I was happy we didn't kick him he somehow did more damage than my 305 friend and killed ogres so fast it was almost unnatural
-
I did it no mic on my first try ever, wasnt that bad honestly, just told them i can hear and we were on our way...
-
Had a guy run relic with us that was afraid to get on mic. He'd never killed oryx but he performed flawlessly. I'll give people a chance, but if they can't adapt and keep up, then they just can't stay.

3 RespuestasYou give yes or no as options but ask kick or stay. Not a yes or no question
-
1 RespuestaNo mic, no raid
-
If he can hear me, its fine. Also if he knows the strat and understands how to do it then its fine in my opinion.
