Here's the scenario:
One guy joins you team for kings fall. He's 305 light and has no mic. He sends you a message saying that he's completed Every part but oryx because he can't find a team. He's got good raid gear and most of the fire team is saying to kick him. Do you kick him or let him stay?

Even if he's not on mic he can listen, and to verify you just ask him to dance or wave if he understands. Just because he can't verbally respond is no reason to believe he's not a valuable asset to the team.
-
If he hasn't beaten oryx I don't want to bother teaching him in hard. When he beats oryx then I'll allow it.
-
No means let him stay right? I let people without mics stay as long as the lack of communication doesn't hinder the team's progress.
-
Depends. Can he listen to people or is he one of those players who does his own thing reguardless of what is acutally going on. -blam!- wave or dance if you understand, sit down if you dont

Editado por Zuvx: 10/23/2015 2:37:31 AMIf he can cooperate, then let him, I barely talked in the oryx fight.
-
If he screws up repeatedly, then yes.
-
I like raiding to meet new friends(litter my meet every friend through a raid, I rather a 293 w/ mic then 310 without
-
Hey, I love Mic-less people. Less Douchebags in the team.
-
I've played with 2 mic-less people before in a raid who knew what they were doing. Heck, they were better than a bunch of those with mics.

Editado por Sturm with no Drang: 10/23/2015 1:04:52 AMThe fireteams I've been in never say to kick a person. I myself have been an "additional" fill-in for fireteams in the past, but never have we ever had to kick a person. If this has been the case then either that one person was really crappy after they joined up for one reason or another or it's time to find a better team.
Speaking of which, a friend invited me to his fireteam(Wizards checkpoint) and we had few problems getting to Oryx, but whenever we got to the second or third "relic run" our runner couldn't reach it because a platform disappeared somehow or the game glitched and wouldn't let him pick it up. This happening to anyone else recently?
Give him a chance, if he can listen good, I'd rather have a guy with no mic that listens then a guy with a mic who yells and screams making the raid unenjoyable
-
You don't really need a whole load of communication for kings fall.
-
I don't understand the poll. I say let him stay though
-
No kick. My group had a 301 request to run fresh with no mic and it ran just fine.
-
Oryx doesn't require ANY communication. Very obvious what to do at all stages
-
If he can hear y'all then give him a chance. If you guys can't complete it and it's obviously his fault. Home boy has to go.
-
No because I'm no elitist, it's not difficult to explain something
-
No I don't kick him. He's done it, meaning he's experienced, and he can hear us through the tv or maybe his mic works to the point where he can put it on and listen but not respond. That's enough for me.
-
You must kick 4 players want him gone? Yes just do it.
-
2 Respuestasummm yes?.......... does that make me a bad person or a good person?
-
Give him a chance to see if he's capable. After a few failures then I'd boot
-
He better be able to hear us and he's getting stuck as the roamer for daughters and oryx. But I only allow one no mic player because communication is important.
-
1 RespuestaAs long as he can hear us its fine
-
Ive done it with a guy who didn't have a mic. He knew what to do up until the daughters. We explained to him what to do and he waved as a sign of approval and we finished the raid fine. As long as he can hear us and know what to do, there should be no problem.
-
1 RespuestaYes, you need a mic.

Editado por Corrick II: 10/23/2015 12:05:57 AMWait a few rounds and see how they do. If they suck, kick them, if they hold their own, keep them around.
