Posted by: capitonRender007
Posted by: Primo84 Was anyone else extremely put off by the joke Dale made about Andrea shooting Daryl? I mean, there's really no way to know how he behaved toward the rest of the group before Rick arrived, as he had his brother's (presumably) -blam!- demeanor to feed off of, but from what we've seen, he's the most level-headed and useful member of the group. Just joking about what had happened made the both of them sound like ungrateful pricks. I think I read on The Walking Dead Wiki that, in the comics, Dale is trying (or does) get Andrea in the sack, but still, that was low. Even going on the notion that Daryl might have behaved more like Merle prior to Rick's arrival, the first time we see him, he's hunting for the rest of the damn group. He's beyond capable of surviving the post-apocalyptic world on his own, these people left his brother for dead, and he still sticks around and helps them get by, and they joke about shooting him? Screw Andrea's feelings, that's just ungrateful. And regarding Andrea: what an idiot. Not only is she told by almost every other member of the group not to take the shot, but she does so without a clear view of her target, and with the other members running out toward her target. What if it had been a walker, and one of the guys that ran out stepped up to bash its head in? She could have blown his head off. Anyway, going off of my angry reaction, I'd say it was the best episode of the season so far, although that doesn't say much. They really need to resolve the whole Sophia storyline before they start losing viewers. With the occupants of Hershel's barn finally comings into play, I see Sophia's disappearance becoming a damn forgotten MacGuffin.
Dale and andrea happens, and he is doing a creepy father/lover thing. She becomes valuable to the group. Dont read the wiki, support the series by getting teh comics, they explain everything much better.
That won't help. They are changing alot of things from the comics. [Edited on 11.14.2011 7:27 AM PST]
