Let's be realistic. Everyone says that sunbreakers are OP, and one of their main points to defend is that it's like a ranged bladedancer. But let's talk about those Stormcallers. Their base melee has an absurd range, and their super requires no effort. At least sunbreakers have to aim, and even with the tracking (which is not always that effective) personally I feel like Titans miss half their hammers anyway. All a Stormcaller has to do is put a hostile in the bounds of their screen and hold the trigger when they get within 20 feet. Not to mention, there is just about as much defense from a sunbreaker as there is a Stormcaller... NONE! How many times have you killed a Stormcaller? How many times have you killed a sunbreaker? The most effective thing against a Stormcaller is a shotgun and when you realize palpatine hands have a longer range than shotguns (even before the nerf) then you're really screwed.
I'd love to hear opinions but I really feel their is some misguidance here. Just my opinion, leave the hate for the cryptarch. Thanks.

1 RespuestaYes because they have -ranged attack -health regen after kill -more armour -faster movement It's literally better in every single way
-
It doesn't sound like you've played as a stormcaller, that's not really how the super works
-
I literally just realise I've killed more sunbreakers than storm callers mid super. #Warlockmasterrace
-
I still use radiant skin in PvP lol
-
I've killed a lot of storm callers actually... Shotgun relatively close followed with a melee works.. And they have to be facing you as well so you can get behind them without getting hurt. Sunbreakers? Nope. Shotgun at point blank range followed with a melee then shoot 4 shots with a scout rifle before he throws a hammer down. Nothing.
-
I have played both classes and sunbreaker by far takes the cake. I've been killed so many more times in stormtrance than when I'm going full bowser.
-
6 RespuestasI can snipe a storm caller, their grenades are easy to avoid, and I don't let them get close enough to melee me. Storm callers are really not a competitive class in the slightest.
-
But you can kill them easy. And they don't heal.

8 RespuestasEditado por Evilman520: 10/17/2015 8:49:45 PMStormtrance is what, now? Also, more than half of my Stormtrance kills are with Chaperone, a Sidearm, or my primary. Even killed a hanful with a melee. Maybe your problem with Stormtrance is a user issue... Also, heres the differences between Stormtrance and HoS: Stormtrance is a mid-to-close-range super, meaning you have to close the distance to your target -kinda like Arc Blade, except for point number 2... HoS can either heal you or grant an overshield when standing in a sunspot. Stormtrance has absolutely no healing capability upon a kill, and only has 50% damage reduction, as opposed to HoS' 55% damage reduction. You say it requires no skill, yet Sunbreakers can throw tracking hammers across maps which can heal them. What the fuk do you know?

1 RespuestaThey do last quite a long time, and they can run around the map holding down the trigger and it doesn't take any super energy. The armor isn't bad, i just think they last quite a long time compared to other supers.

2 RespuestasAnd have a free fist of havoc.
-
2 RespuestasThat's right. Let's start a nerf for warlocks because they arnt op or running with a game breaking glitch :)
-
6 RespuestasA stormcaller using trancendance, super conductor and impossible machines is on par with or better than sunbreaker for various scenarios. People overreact a ton at sunbreakers health. It's only 5% more than a stormcaller
-
If they nurf Sunbreaker, nurf stormcaller! Chant it with me guys!
-
8 RespuestasYou can kill storm callers way easier and a stormcaller doesn't instakill

Op titan main confirmed

1 RespuestaEditado por gundam538: 10/17/2015 6:49:06 PMAt close range of course stormcallers will win most of the time but their armor isnt that much different than any other subclass that gets a armor boost during a super. Sunbreakers armor is still a good bit higher than stormcallers. Warlocks are safe and don't really need to be touched, maybe just maybe a little more of a drain when you attack with the super active. Sunbreakers I don't have an issue with but for the sack of argument they could use a small reduction in armor when using hammer of sol in pvp only. Otherwise people are just finding excuses to bitch about one thing or another.

8 RespuestasI get more multi kills with my warlock in pvp than my Titan. Titans are easy to avoid, jump, jump, shotgun. Dead.
-
1 RespuestaI think the "problem" is just the duration of stormcaller and the number of hammers you can throw in pvp. I imagine the duration of stormcaller is the same as gg or radiance or blade dancer the only thing I see is that using/pulling the trigger to damage people doesn't seem to bring it down much faster. Those would be the only things I noticed. I mean most supers are usually annoying when you get killed by them but ya that's probably the only thing I would think they need to tweak if they actually need to

4 RespuestasStorm callers have 20% damage reduction. Hammers have 50%

Option 1) Shadowshot Option 2) Fire Sword Option 3) SmoggyPluto

Self ad because this is no joke people
-
3 RespuestasNope. According to forum logic if you can snipe it its balanced.
