Edit: I ask all guardians, please leave your stories here on how sunbreakers have victimized you in the past and continue to do so today. Maybe then they will understand the psychological damage they are causing.
Edit 2: Just for clarification, The existence of counters does not automatically mean something isn't ridiculous. I, as well as many of you reading this, have successfully countered sunbreakers in the past and probably will counter more in the future. Even so, keep in mind that there were plenty of counters to blink, to pre 2.0 felwinter archetypes, to pre 2.0 Thorn, to pre 2.0 Last Word, to 1.0 Vex Mythoclast, to pre autorifle nerf Suros, yet those things were still considered problematic.
Edit 3: Alot of folks seem to think I'm asking for a nerf. I'm not. I'm simply acknowledging the obvious. I do fine in pvp, and will continue to do so whether or not it gets nerfed (it will).

7 RespuestasIts a tank class, tank super right? So let's make it that. 1. Keep the hammers 2. Keep em tracking 3. Keep the armor and regen 4. Hell keep the blast radius Just make em move slower just as a tank would. It'll make it "survivable" for the average scrub but not wreck its awesome use in PvE (especially partnered with muh shadowshot) Yes I'm a hunter. K/D 2.0. I wreck Titans regardless.

Thats straight up lag... Shadowshot shuts down sunbreaker 10/10... Anything else its a connection problem... One thing I am for is instant suppression after a direct shadowshot hit on any super that requires you to move ie. bladedancer, sunbreaker, stormcaller, etc...

after playing with hammers in PVP some, yeah they are gonna get tweaked. its the damage reduction that needs to get lowered (mostly) but thats alot trickier. they could always just reduce the damage some and up it in PVE via more v aliens, like shotguns and ARs. buuuuut yeah, they gun get hit. hopefully by not alot.

2 RespuestasNerfing the Super nerfs the entire class, since the entire class is based on having active abilities. Do you have any idea what class balance is? Stop focusing on a ten-second super, and realize that the rest of the class is weak compared to hunters especially.

3 RespuestasI'm not gonna ssay the super isn't op. I made a Titan just to harass other titans. (Still suck with it) but all the other abilities are below avarage. Shit melee. Shit nades and so on. If they nerf the super itself and not rework the other abilities it's gonna be well shit.

10 RespuestasAlso you can avoid them really easy. If you hear one activate, look at your radar and check where they are on the map. Run away from them and jump around because the hammers arch instead of fly straight at you. If you try to face time head on, you're a moron. Would you face a GG head on? No because they can one shot you. The people crying nerf are people who don't play strategically. If you hear any super activate just run! You don't die and they don't get a kill! Simple as that. And for christs sake it hasn't even been a month, blade dancer reigned in crucible for an entire year before it even got touched and all they did was remove the auto lock on and increase the cool down of blink! Instead of crying nerf, adjust your strategy and you'll find yourself living a whole lot more and whining a whole lot less. And this is coming from a Titan who mains a defender! If you want proof look at my medals and you'll see that I I've only used HoS once in PVP and swore it off.
