Expansion Pass PSN Key redemption

HI, I've tried a couple of places and followed a few links provided for difificulties with the expansion pass keys. I was given the Destiny Limited Edition as a Brthday gift but PSN won't accept the code. I've ensured that the game is installed and fully updated, simply wont accept the code :( How do I go about getting this either fixed or a replacement key issued? Thanks Wayne

  • Wayne, I realize you do not like the answer you were given by the Mentor but that answer (and the ones by the other forum members) is CORRECT. If the code is expired, it is EXPIRED. The original legendary edition of Destiny launched over a year ago. The codes had a clear expiration date PRINTED on the form itself. Regardless of when one would purchase it, the code itself is expired. That would be like saying Atari owes you a code for Adventure for the 2600 at this point. The code is done, null and void, and you have received your answer whether you like it or not. The Mentor has answered the Bungie has NO control over the codes only the publisher does (Activision) and Activision has long stood by the fact that once a code is expired, that is it, it is expired. No substitutions or changes will be made once that code has become null and void.

    • Unfortunately if the code is expired, there isn't much that can be done from the Bungie end. The game's publisher, Activision, recommends contacting Xbox / Playstation support, for any issues dealing with code redemption: https://support.activision.com/articles/en_US/FAQ/Destiny-Support

      • So, did you receive the [i]original[/i] Destiny Limited/Collector's Edition [i]without[/i] The Taken King? That would be from last year, so you may wanna check that the code has not expired... :/ Look for any information on the note with the code, any small print or such.
