Your Jolly Holliday quest is bullshit
Hey I have an idea, let's make a weapon solely obtainable by using a weapon we just nerfed to high hell!
Thanks a lot, you pencil necked wankers.
Also, thanks for making Iron Banner pointless by offering 280 gear.
While I'm at it, I'd also like to thank you for rendering all of my prior raid gear and weapons useless. You guys really know how to keep your fanbase happy, don't you?
I've played Destiny since the beta and I've had enough of the limitations you people keep pushing on us. This game would've been great if you hadn't screwed it up like you did.
Thanks for making my hard work in Year One account to absolutely nothing.

1) the quest is ridiculously easy 2) iron banner gear being sold can drop in game. I saw a hunter cloak drop at 296 3) last word was barely changed 4) you're a whiny bitch

So I hit 100% and kinda figured that the 100% was good enough, you know, since 100% is normally good enough to consider a mission or quest completed. I kept playing so that I could level up my Iron Banner standing, hoping that something decent would drop. Little did I know however, 100% doors not mean that you've completed the quest. Now I'm back at 85%. This is why I hate this farking quest.

TLW is still really good in PVP, just not at range like it should be. It took me 4-5 matches to get that step done for me. Just use it in combination with a sniper and hip fire up close with it.

Am curious why you are not playing a mayhem game mode Equip last word Get kills with supers and grenades Problem solved pal.. Common sense prevails and you get to the next step of the bounty. And hopefully, you complete it sooner rather than later :) Good luck

2 RespuestasThe Last Word just has to be equipped. Secondary, Heavy, Melee, Grenade and Super kills all contribute to your total. Getting head shots with Last Word and going on kill streaks substantially increases the % rate as well. But in all fairness I know the quest is for elite PvP players only. If you're on the edge of losing it over this bounty, why not do the cheese? Back in year one, everyone did it for the Thorn so it's not uncommon. It just depends on how far you will go to obtain said exotic shotgun; done in possibly one match or suffer an excruciating grind that might never pay off. Just think about it.

The last word is still the highest ttk(time to kill) weapon. It's range and stability were just affected.

I agree. It's total crap. +3% per kill but like -10% per death. They're punishing me for other players being better than me. How is that fair?!?!?!

3 RespuestasI agree. The Chaperone quest is no fun. To your point, it is even harder since The Last Word feels like a toy now. Couldn't this quest for this sweet weapon have been something more creative then "hey get X amount of kills with this weapon in the crucible where it is super hard and tedious to get kills with this weapon that we just nerfed!" Now I know that you can get kills with a different weapon while it is equipped, but that is just more tedious BS.

2 RespuestasI kind of agree with op, making all of year one stuff useless with merciless nerfs even if you spend marks to get the y2 version only pisses fans off, myself included, the gear should have been re-scaled to replicate most of it's previous power. Screwing over all of the fans that spent a year on this is not honest business. Furthermore it could end in a mass fan lawsuit that could bury bungie if they do it again on year three, because if they do the same thing again they're going to piss off two generations of fans that are all going to want their money back. You can't just destroy everyone's fruit of labor year after year, even blizzard understands this, it's the only way they kept that crap they call wow up and running this long. If bungie doesn't get their shit together and start telling Activision to take their greed fueled ideas and cram em this game is gonna die a horrible, slow, expensive death. And that would make me sad. Please smarten up and smell the coffee bungie, Activision is going to ruin this game for everyone in the name of profit.

Regarding the raid gear, it's year1 stuff, you had plenty of warning that it'd be inferior come the update. However, there's a rumor floating around that there's gunna be year two versions of the old raids in the nearish future that drop year two models of the raid gear (it may have been in an announcement or something, i dunno, im just repeating what ive heard)

2 RespuestasI'm thinking this quest was either changed or bugged out for some people because there seems to be a group of people that either state only TLW kills count, and then a group that says kills while equipped (regardless of ability) count. Weeks ago I was getting 50%ish without trying but currently i'm noticing I cant even get above 10% with 2.0+ KDR runs... I started monitoring my % increase closely and i'm positive now ONLY TLW kills count for me (not talking for others). Would like to hear some confirmation whether others currently on the quest (not ones that have it done) are currently noticing other abilities increasing % to know whether its individually bugged or a game wide change.

The quest is easier than ur mom Then when we complain about using the same guns over and over, they make them pointless and give us new ones. WE CRY! #logic Iron Banner should give you 300+, yes, but you can still infuse the gear.

2 RespuestasI got to around 40% EXCRUCIATINGLY slowly until I decided to read up about it for some tips. Supers, Heavy weapons, multikills are really good. I'm personally playing Rift so I can just camp the Rift spawn and snipe distracted players who are you know - playing the game mode. Doesn't make me any friends on my team though :P Just swap the gun out if you can see you're gonna have a bad game. You chaps also just taught me that wins count as well. I'm at 75% now, I might just play it safe for the last 25% and run the Iron Banner, just swap TLW just before winning a game. I don't really care if the gun's a turd or not, I just think it looks beautiful, like the Monte Carlo.
