Playing Destiny I have noticed the technology we see from the golden age doesn't seem to add up.
For example, if we are using jumpships, that can warp from planet to planet pretty quickly, and are common enough that every Guardian and their mother can salvage one, why do the colony ships in the cosmodrome seem to be made with 21st century technology?
Same goes for the Sparrows. If transmat and (presumably sparrows, as they seem to use similar technology to the jumpships) existed during the golden age, why all the rusty cars and tanks on earth?
Does anyone have an explanation for this discrepancy?

3 RespuestasThe colony ships were made around now, we started having those big ships in the beginning but then made smaller faster ships. Not our jump ship though

3 RespuestasThe fallen attacked the cosmodrome while the people were trying to scape , so the people cause fire next to the oil tanks and that's why we have the explosion area and the ships never make it. The sparrows are not from the golden age , they are technology from our time, so much technology was lost and we have so little , just like the jumpships , Amanda Holliday fix the ships we find in the wild with materials gathered in the patrol missions.
