Why can swords in Crucible block entire clips of ammo, shotgun blasts, rockets, even sticky grenades?

2 RespuestasBecause they are limited to usually twice a match and have limited ammo. Stop crying NERF you little bitches
-
its a limited use tactical weapon . tip the swords work same as PvE shields do. solar wrecks solar , void wrecks void , arc wrecks arc . use a mixed setup of weapon burns and be prepared for any sword . hitting a solar with solar damage will cause the players sword ammo to burn off fast and I mean very fast . just wait till you get a bolt caster swung at you lmmfao .

5 RespuestasRocket if they land in front of them The others as well if they have to right element and you have the wrong one

3 RespuestasEditado por mezz44: 10/2/2015 10:49:36 AMFor the most part my experience with pop sword users wasn't bad the big thing is to draw them in versus rush them make em block and switch to a shotgun when they close in as they swing you shoot. If you have a super active if they block they lose their sword. It's all about finding your way to counter but if you are with teammates you can usually focus down a sword rather quickly.

6 RespuestasJust shut up and practice.
-
Because that's what it supposed to do but it eats up their ammo.
-
Because of it's range, it needs a way to defend against ranged weapons or else it would be useless in crucible, however, rockets obliterate it but anytime you block with it, it uses ammo and when you get shot at with it, you lose chunks of ammo so...

22 RespuestasI'm not even that good at pvp & even I've managed to kill a good chunk of sword users its not even overpowered when they block they tend to move really really slow I just take advantage of that & shoot the crap outta their head & when they get close enough switch to a shotgun & blast them & melee honestly it is not an overpowered weapon when you have to run up to your enemy for a kill

1 RespuestaMommy the bad sword man touched my no no and hurt me.
-
Are -blam!-ing kidding me, you know how many times I've been one shot while blocking? Not with any gun but a single -blam!-ing punch kills md
-
2 RespuestasJust use a weapon they're weak against. You'll blow through almost all of their ammo by shooting them anyway.
-
Blocking takes a significant amount of energy away from the sword when actually blocking damage, it's completely balanced. Keep in mind which elemental damage the sword is because they have a harder time blocking their specific damage type. They correctly balanced a weapon type, for once.
-
It burns a lot of "hits" off the sword when blocking
-
2 RespuestasBecause maybe everyone else silently agreed they'd finally lace one weapon type alone and not cry about it. But there's always that turd in the punch bowl that doesn't listen
-
I can't this post seriously because of you name Everyone has a sword so why nerf something that everyone enjoys using

Even though I disagree with you, I just like how everybody talking shit and got butthurt lol, AND they're using swords as well. It's an opinion, no need to be rude just because he doesn't like the sword.
-
How about you stop whining ah get good
-
Oh please lol...every block takes away some energy. Every heavy ammo pick up gives the sword like 28 swings; not to mention that it is a heavy weapon!
-
If they nerf it they should just nerf it in pvp so it can still be as good in pve
-
Well, yeah. But if you hit at their feet it can instantly drain all charges on the sword, and the sword has a durability before basically breaking. Happens a lot in PVE with explosives. Plus if you kill them, they lose all their charges on the sword instantly. The sword is a glass cannon. Meant to do a ton of carnage at high risk. Just have to get used to countering it more than anything.
