Chaperone quest is bugged.
Or I simply don't know the formula. My last game was 2 KD came in at the end got two quick kills. my bounty went down four points. Really? Three or four games a go went like 18 and 3 in clash and lost 5 points on the quest. I am watching this thing like a hawk because I just want it to end. How will it ever end if it is bugged or I simply don't understand the rules and or formal to succeed. Bungie come on please explain.

Don't listen to the guy below me, any kills count, it counted when I got shotgun kills, heavy kills, and super kills. Killstreaks give you higher amounts of points, same with winning I heard.

Ye i felt like it was a bit bugged too. I remember seeing that i was on 99% and it popped after my 6th kill after that(without dying)

Mine finished fine. It just took forever cause I'm an extremely average PvP player.

It's def bugged. I was at 99%, got a double kill with tlw then got a snipe head shot, then died. Went back to 96%. No way a double kill and a snipe head shot shouldn't have gave me the 1% I needed.

After having a similar experience (Going positive and losing progress) I used this method: 1: Equip a different exotic primary 2: Wait for your super/heavy 3: Switch to TLW 4: Go ham 5: Switch back to your other primary 6: Repeat 7: Profit I had a couple good games with at least one 10 kill streak and I went from 30% to completion in those two games.

I sniped the whole time and when the enemy got close I would switch to tlw and got it done quick.

Use super, heavy, special. A quad with a rocket gave me 25% alone

6 RespuestasAs I'm sure everyone else here has tried to explain, I'll give it a shot anyway. Because you LOSE more points on a death than you gain on a single kill, it's very possible to have an average game where you come out positive, but still lose rep. The key is to get bonus points and Medals. Precision kills, marksman medals, Medic medals, Multikills, Killstreaks, etc. You'll find that you can pick up 15-25% or more in a single game if you play well. Also, I would suggest 3v3 Game Modes. You're less likely to get ambushed by 2+ enemies, and your teammates typically stay closer together to provide support.

24 RespuestasSo here is the deal. One kill by TLW is 1%, precision kill is 2%. Death by body shot is - 1%, death by precision shot is - 2%. 5 kill streak is 5% (higher kill streaks give more) Double kills etc, also gives %. Kill streaks, double kills etc. Gives %, even if it is not with TLW, though normal kills (not streaks etc.) with weapons other than TLW (super, heavy, abilities, special etc.) do not give %. But you're better of mainly using TLW. You can get streaks and get % with other weapons. Like get a triple multikill with a rocket and you get a lot, but if you get kills one by one, and die before you hit 5 kill streak, you get nothing.

Bump 1% sometimes 2 for a kill sometimes 2% to 4 in loss. And the 1 is on an unassisted kill.

My advice is just to put on last word when you want to use your super and when you get heavy. It gives you big points for streaks so use a machine gun and go to town. I did this and finished in 4 games.

9 Respuestasdeaths wont count if you unequip last word. So, wait until your super is up and equip last word. Go on a kills streak and then unequip last word. You won't lose progress this way. I did it by just playing as I normally do but I've always hip fired last word but this seems to be the overall consensus way to complete the first part of the bounty

2 Respuestasthere's no way its not bugged but apparently one death is minus 2% on the quest while one kill is 1%, and one kill specifically with the TLW is more than 1% i believe? yea 2.0KD games and the like dont matter. if you die 3-5 times in a match, it'll basically wipe all your gains.
