God's a thug
Think about it. He uses fear to get you to do what he wants. If you don't, he's like "Hey, you have a pretty nice soul right there. It'd be a shame if anything happened to it. See my friend over there? His name is Lucifer. You don't want to meet him. If you don't worship me, I'll go have you meet him, capeesh?"

The whole concept of heaven and hell being prize and punishment is my main problem with Christianity. Yes the threat of hell is pure evil, designed to scare innocent and gullible people into Christianity. Heaven does this too, but with promise of reward. The classic good cop bad cop situation.
