-THIS NEEDS TO BE BUMPED, STICKED AND TRENDING!!-
So, i just read the Books of Sorrow, three Krill (original race, pre-Hive) one named Aurash, another named Xi Ro and a third called Sathona, all are female as written in these grimoire cards, children of the Osmium Throne
Their homeworld is The Fundament, they've set to delve into the Deep (core of the planet) to find some sort of secret power that would help them get revenge and regain their rightful place, after Taox (said Teacher to them at the time) plotted to have the Helium Court kill the kings heirs (which failed BUT the King being assassinated), thus after having found the Needle, a ship, found in the Shvubi Maelstrom, along past layers of the core they would come across an entity called the Leviathan that would guard it (The Deep), in this core are trapped the Worms Xol, Eir, Ur and Akka
Aurash, Sathona and Xi Ro all ingest a worm. Each gaining a new name for their adulthood, Aurash becoming Auryx and undergoes a transformation called King Morph.
Together they would slowly become more powerful, killing other species to feed the hunger of the worms (given to them by the Ahamkara) thus making them stronger in exchange but making the Worms grow more hungry.
-Auryx, later then known as no one else but Oryx, The Taken King (in other words btw, Oryx is a female lol...)
Edit: HOLY SHIT !!

LOOK AT THAT LITTLE HALO/DESTINY UNIVERSE CROSSOVER (could be IF these Ecumene in the Destiny lore is the same beings as in Halo, because in Halo the Ecumene are basically the Forerunners)
Edit #2: getting pretty tired of people saying "hurr Oryx isn't a girl", well ffs yes IT was a SHE back when IT was two years old at the beginning of this story depicted in these grimoire cards.
I'm also tired of all these " derp da Ahamkara are dragonnzzz hurrrr" so far we've not seen what they look like other than bones, but these worms sure asf speak like Ahamkara, have god like powers like Ahamkara, can even speak/influence even AFTER death like Ahamkara and also are deceitful beings.. Promising power in return for some sated appetites. So far, what's written here quite weights in the direction that: yes they could pretty much be these beings we call Ahamkara

If you read all the story content here, look up Ghost Fragment: Darkness 3, I believe it's Toland. He talks about hive and in the card it reveals that in the end he completely understood the way the hive work.

I accidentally shot that worm thing, what did the ghost say?

17 RespuestasDoes anybody know what kind of beef does Oryx have with the Traveler? I understand the Worms don't really like him either, but I doubt that the motivation goes much beyond eating everything. Why does Oryx hate it?

4 RespuestasI'm confused. So, the Hive are from a planet called the Fundamental/The fundament. On this planet, deep within, are wyrms? These wyrms corrupt and take over the Hive God Kings? One of them gets corrupted and becomes Oryx? Now he/she is hell bent on destroying the solar system to satisfy the wyrms hunger in return for power??? Correct me, I'm trying to understand the back story/lore.
Worms is probably a direct relation to wyrms, wyrms are dragons. Also noted in most ancient cultures dragons, serpents, and snakes are referred to as worms
1 RespuestaI think the truth is that the Leviathan was actually an Ahamkara, and that the worms are literally just worms, as shown in the first mission on the dreadnaught where you can literally see worms feeding and burrowing into the ground if you get too close. I say the leviathan was more likely an Ahamkara because they described it as more dragon like than the Worms, which they described as "Look upon my coiled shape and wings" or something close to that. Meaning that they could literally be winged worms, or that they are more like a snake (looking like Kulkukan from Smite).
