-THIS NEEDS TO BE BUMPED, STICKED AND TRENDING!!-
So, i just read the Books of Sorrow, three Krill (original race, pre-Hive) one named Aurash, another named Xi Ro and a third called Sathona, all are female as written in these grimoire cards, children of the Osmium Throne
Their homeworld is The Fundament, they've set to delve into the Deep (core of the planet) to find some sort of secret power that would help them get revenge and regain their rightful place, after Taox (said Teacher to them at the time) plotted to have the Helium Court kill the kings heirs (which failed BUT the King being assassinated), thus after having found the Needle, a ship, found in the Shvubi Maelstrom, along past layers of the core they would come across an entity called the Leviathan that would guard it (The Deep), in this core are trapped the Worms Xol, Eir, Ur and Akka
Aurash, Sathona and Xi Ro all ingest a worm. Each gaining a new name for their adulthood, Aurash becoming Auryx and undergoes a transformation called King Morph.
Together they would slowly become more powerful, killing other species to feed the hunger of the worms (given to them by the Ahamkara) thus making them stronger in exchange but making the Worms grow more hungry.
-Auryx, later then known as no one else but Oryx, The Taken King (in other words btw, Oryx is a female lol...)
Edit: HOLY SHIT !!

LOOK AT THAT LITTLE HALO/DESTINY UNIVERSE CROSSOVER (could be IF these Ecumene in the Destiny lore is the same beings as in Halo, because in Halo the Ecumene are basically the Forerunners)
Edit #2: getting pretty tired of people saying "hurr Oryx isn't a girl", well ffs yes IT was a SHE back when IT was two years old at the beginning of this story depicted in these grimoire cards.
I'm also tired of all these " derp da Ahamkara are dragonnzzz hurrrr" so far we've not seen what they look like other than bones, but these worms sure asf speak like Ahamkara, have god like powers like Ahamkara, can even speak/influence even AFTER death like Ahamkara and also are deceitful beings.. Promising power in return for some sated appetites. So far, what's written here quite weights in the direction that: yes they could pretty much be these beings we call Ahamkara

1 Respuestaisn't ahamkara the flying dragon-bird hybird thingny on venus?

This has to he the best part of this game. The story here rivals halo. Jesus i just read the whole thing. To think oryx has destroyed so much for the darkness is inconceivable. I cant wait to take his ass down on his home dimension. Good riddance.

3 RespuestasNot a female, the three were genderless until they matured at which point they become mothers (female) of Knights (males) so oryx is a male since he became a knight
-
12 RespuestasI wonder what the Hive looked like before the three daughters found the worms. Also they were forced to flee home when the Helium Court took over, what happened to the rest of their kind back at their home world (including the Helium Drinkers) because I'm not going the read the whole thing until later.

Oryx went to the Black Garden. You know that grimoire where a guy is talking about how he came to the garden smiling with black flames and that he beat the gardener? That was Oryx. It is even talked about in the Books of Sorrow. Crota opened a rupture to a dimension and Vex came out. Eventually the mind over the vex learned the Blade rule and how to increase power through worship. Eventually Oryx showed up and pwned Quidra. He then sealed the rupture. The vex talking in the first card likely took what it learned from Oryx and became the Black Heart. It used worship to gain all of its power.

My dad was laughing at me, so I ate him -Oryx 2015

It makes perfect sense that the Ahamkara are the worms. Even the Destiny Timeline states this. The Worms gave Oryx and his (her?) Siblings great powers, but not without a cost. The Ahamkara do this to the Guardians as well. There's alot that makes sense, like some of the names...etc I do believe the Nine to have some correlation to the Ahamkara/Worms as well. The Nine have their own agenda, mirroring that of the WYRMS, example releasing Skolas, and have a crazy amount of power. Look at what they did to the Jovians.

5 RespuestasEditado por BudaVision: 9/17/2015 2:12:38 PMDude. What a catch! Like you mentioned, I wonder if the Ecumene they refer too in the Grimoire is the same as the forerunners in the Halo Universe... And if so, what does Bungie have up their sleeves for future Destiny games... Personally, I don't believe it's the same Ecumene as Halo. Destiny is a cross platform game and introducing Halo into the Destiny universe would completely screw over all the PLAYSTATION owners. And as much as I love and am loyal to the Xbox system... I don't think that would be fair.

Bump. So intrigued by this.. just wow.
