Customization Lost!
So bungie, you're telling me you're allowing us to just pledge to a faction without having to wear their class item? so now what do I do with my other cloaks? Did I buy all the cloaks the Speaker offered for no reason?..Remove Defense From Class Items, perks can be kept but for them to have defense? that's kinda dumb, you're just keeping us from having our Guardian the way we like them. YOU CANNOT FORCE YOUR COMMUNITY INTO FORGETTING EVERYTHING WE WORKED HARD FOR, FOR SOMETHING STRONGER! The weapons make sense, they do, that I can handle but cloaks, bonds and so forth? No. end that immediately. I should be able to wear whatever class item I like without having to worry about it screwing with my strength. It's frustrating and just honestly stupid, what if I dont wanna wear the frumious cloak? too -blam!-ing bad for me right? I'm forced to, because its stronger!
Okay, Here's a poll for any Guardian who reads this! Tell me what you think, am I right and it shouldn't be forced upon us or am I a complete jackass for thinking it's that big of a deal.
I like my Guardian to have character, not some copy of someone else.

People still saying infuse, or quit whining, say that to all the voters who chose to not have defense. I win, my argument is closed now. I've moved on, found meh class items I can deal with.

I do love customization, I would love to see a patch that would allow us to infuse year one gear. I also have two cloaks from the speaker that I love that now can't ideal at all because they have zero defense. Also just in general with the current infusion, I would like to see an option to choose the appearance that you prefer out of the two items being infused, this would allow for a greater spectrum of personal customization.

I am sacrficing a couple points of light to wear the cloak of my choosing. Now if I get an ugly cloak that will up my light level 20+ then I may choose to look silly.

I don't mind it to be honest, have the Queens cloak for my hunter and it looks amazing! I just infuse the cloak when I get something stronger :)

1 RespuestaI agree, putting stats on vanity items is just dumb. Bungie hasn't yet figured out that many players actually enjoy the custom look of their avatars and that vanity items can add to in game immersion. I thought they learned this already but obviously not The solution is a stat gem or something, and we can socket it in and out of a vanity item or even armor that we enjoy the look of.
