So....many 34s are now 33s
If your light level is less than 170 even just 169, maybe you have one item equipped that is not year one max. When you run the 34 PoE your basically a level 33 and at a major power disadvantage.
I'd like to see a chart explaining light and damage percentages.
Level 1 = light 5
Level 5 = light 20
Level 10 = light 50
Level 20 = light 100
Level 30 = light 150
Level 34 = light 170
Level 40 = light 200?
But year 2 weapons start at light 280

5 RespuestasLight level now is based on attack and defense. And has a slow increase in power as it goes up, instead of the spike in power that the old system had. Character level now is only a key to unlock activities. Someone doesn't pay attention/understand simple Math.

Bungie did it again... So many changes at the same time that I can't even tell how much of this is because of the gun balancing or if they messed up their light level conversion (or both), but we are for sure weaker than we used to be.

Did hard VoG last night and I was at the time 164 it definitely was more difficult to kill the vex

By the old system, 168 light was level 34. 169 is an improvement.

Played crota on hard at light level 169 seems that I'm not taking as much damage off of crota as before. It still takes me two rounds of sword but this time more sword swings.
