Year 1 over, Hawkmoon now please!!!!
Okay so Year 1 is over tomorrow. So then your contract with PS exclusive content from Year 1 is now up.
Can Xur please sell us the Hawkmoon now this coming weekend. And please don't tell me Xur ' s Inventory is random, we all know this is a joke. It may have been at one time until Xur got hacked. We have been waiting so long just watching YouTube to see this baby in action, and it's not even going to be like it was and it's probably not even going to be a good weapon anymore, bit regardless we should get to play around with it.

9/10/15 EDIT: Do to the overwhelming amount of replies I feel some of you need educated. This whole giving anyone crap for buying something from Xur Is Really ignorant. Okay so you go do a Nightfall, which takes a half hour or so depending on Rngesus for his rolls on said Nightfall and you get an Exotic. Or you do 3 Weekly Heroic Strikes and Earn 27 strange coins and then turn around and use them to buy a random Exotic from Xur, these 3 strikes take well over an hour. So now I ask who actually did more work to "earn" the Exotic? I swear some people are just ignorant... lol

I have a Fulcrum with final round and luck in the chamber. That's about as good as its going to get for now. Still doesn't even seem that nerfed in crucible to me. Why waste the exotic spot on a hand cannon like 9/10 people did in crucible before the update? Isn't it nice when there is a variety of guns being used instead of everyone using what's "OP" like a bunch of Call of Duty kiddies(which is the main reason the cool stuff gets needed anyways). People who complain about the nerfs have no one to blame but themselves for it happening.

Hawkmoon was my first exotic. It will always hold a special place even if it's nerfed. Even though I used it yesterday and the changes aren't that noticeable.

Also uh I don't think a lot of you checked the armory page. The year 2 variant can be sold by xur. Either that or Bungie needs to proof read what goes onto their official databases.

2 RespuestasHere's the way I see it, I wouldn't mind xur selling it, and I wouldn't mind getting it in a drop. But to those of you who say "They can just wait like the rest of us did on PS4", the Xbox community has waited, an entire year. There were people on PS that got that thing in under 50 hours of gameplay, just like people did with Gjallarhorn. And there are some people who have ground for literally days worth on PS who haven't gotten it. And to be completely fair it would kind ease the saltiness of my comrades on Xbox to be able to buy it alongside you all on PS, seeing as how I know A LOT of people out there who have put days worth of gameplay in on Xbox without the chance even getting the freaking thing. That's just my 2 cents. I'll be in my cave if anyone needs me.

Unfortunately the hawkmoons glory isn't what It used to be after 2.0 It's still decent by all means but nowhere near as good as it used to be. Usually get 96 per headshot with out luck in the chamber now I got 80 at mid range. That seems like a substantial nerf to me.

Bad news for hawkmoon... My one and only weapon for PVP has now been nerfed. It now takes 2-3 head shots where it used to be two only. Long range has been reduced so much it its basically not forth it because of the recoil.

2 RespuestasHawkmoon was my favorite weapon at one time. It was like my third or fourth exotic and I didn't yet have a GALLY, so it was my go to weapon when IB wasn't needed. I remember wanting either a awesome hand cannon or sniper that was legendary so I could always have Hawkmoon or IB breaker equipped and not lose on firepower. Finally, I got my Fatebringer and Hawkmoon quietly was retired. Eventually, my Gally dropped during a Crota's End raid at Deathsinger, and my Ice Breaker got retired. These are weapons I trusted and loved, but had to move on from when something better came along. I didn't look back. After today's patch, and eventually the launch of TTK, most if not all of our first year weapons will be old news. It's somewhat sad, but just like in life, you can't stop progression. It's bittersweet, yet necessary and I welcome the change.

6 RespuestasI hope he doesnt sell hawkmoon, cause xbox players should have to get it how we did, hawkmoon is one of the few exotic weapons we have truely all earned if we have it, as no one can just roll up to xur and buy for completing a few weekly heroics (which are so easy) but instead have had to be grinded for, and is worth the wait, nothing beats seeing your name found hawkmoon in the feed, worth the wait
