It's a good thing that in a world filled with genocide, human trafficking, war, and extremism we're losing our minds over words that hurt.
I'm sorry you're feelings are hurt, but no matter what I say or do, you control the way you feel. The best way to prevent having your feelings hurt is to not be offended. That's up to you. You're never a victim to your own feelings. You're not a victim to someone's words.
Grow up, be the person you want to be, and don't allow someone's opinion to be your reality. It's weak and useless. We have more important crap to worry about.
