Every day, almost 30 people in the United States die in motor vehicle crashes that involve an alcohol-impaired driver. This amounts to one death every 51 minutes.1 The annual cost of alcohol-related crashes totals more than $59 billion.2

From 2005-2009, there were an average of 3,533 fatal unintentional drownings (non-boating related) annually in the United States — about ten deaths per day.
......So until an active shooter can kill more people than drunk driving can in ONE day, I don't give a shit. Tbh, it's not even a big deal. Three people died, so what. People die everyday in every way imaginable. The only reason it becomes anything is so it can stir up the national gun debate.
Until the day when 30+ active shooters organize with automatic rifles and slaughter Times Square, I'm going to ignore all shooting stories.

I think better health care and cracking down on organized crime better would probably help. A lot of shootings are gang related and a lot of shooters are suffering from mental illness or are just to edgy for the general public (lel).
-
If you didn't care why did you post about it? You obviously cared enough to complain about it.

13 RespuestasSo if I killed 29 of your family members for shits and giggles, you would be fine with that?

We talked about this in my psychology class. Most women in the class were sad While the guys were not phased For me, I'm so used to death and such on TV and news I'm immune to it With in 20 minutes of me the Columbine massacre happened The aurora shooting And loads of other stuff. It's demoralizing people r not as affected and that this is the norm..: and that news only talks about bad n not the good in life

5 RespuestasThousands die in hundreds of mass shootings every year and nobody bats an eye Two schmucks are shot on camera AND EVERYONE LOSES THEIR MINDS

2 RespuestasI think we should just ban death, but only if you're not liberal. Anyone who is liberal should still have to die. If we do this then the whole world will be a much happier place.

2 Respuestasit's just another glimpse at the vicious cycle; someone unstable gets a gun, they kill people, they get arrested or kill themselves, another gun law is put in place. then another unstable person grabs a gun and the cycle repeats itself, ironically just like in the machine guns that have been long banned due to such incidents. there are two things I think that wouldn't solve this problem, but would help combat it: 1. anyone who wishes to apply for a firearm licence and carry permit must undertake a mandatory Psychological evaluation, conducted by a trained Psychologist. if they refuse the appointment, they cannot own a gun. if they pass a psychological evaluation, they are one step closer to being a gun owner. furthermore, every month or so, a gun owner should be scheduled to visit the psychologist again to see how he/she is feeling. if the psychologist is convinced that this person has become more unstable since their last visit, they should be legally required to lock their gun(s) in a safe until they pass another evaluation. should they pass, their gun will be returned. the safe can be inside a police station. 2. all gun owners should take a mandatory training and safety course that will teach them how to properly hold and operate the firearm. this would help reduce the number of accidental firearm-related deaths. they should be taught how various types of gun are operated, disassembled, cleaned and stored safely out of the way of children and potential thieves who would steal the guns and potentially use them in a crime. guns CAN be an acceptable part of society, but ONLY if you are willing to accept and understand them. ignorance can be forgiven if a person is willing to learn.

Meh, it doesn't matter because it doesn't effect you. I understand what you're trying to say and that this is the internet and being edgy is the fad; you have to understand that what happened was petty tragic and if seeing that video doesn't at least make you re-think gun violence and gun control. Well... I don't what else to say about it.

So alcohol guns and water should be illegal
-
i mean, its a prime example of the race war right now, maybe why all the attention but i dont really care, whatever

That annnnnd, crowd control, thin the population out a little, do us all a favore

It's funny how easy it is to avoid shooting someone or drunk driving, it just makes you wonder how screwed up people are
