Bungie, why did you remove double grenades for Nightstalkers?
The Nightstalker subclass was originally going to get the perk named "Well provisioned" , this perk would grant the class a second grenade and increased duration. This perk has been replaced by one called "Lock down": Grenade and smoke effects last twice as long, allowing strong territory control.
-Yes this perk is good in the sense that it will grant crowd control
-Yes it's good they included smoke
However, the previous perk was more beneficial and finally gave the hunter the ability to have two grenades just like every other class can have. It was fair. Now the hunters are getting the short end of the stick again when it comes to double grenades. Bungie please return that perk, hunters deserve double grenades as well.

Until It's Actually Released It Has NOTHING in it. Upon release that's what it originally has. As you have not played it like the rest of us understand it's subject to change. Heck even after release thingsight change.

6 RespuestasCome on... You guys are getting shadestep. That is the replacement for blink. Blink wont be good anymore, so warlocks won't have a special move. Titans... have always had the short end of the stick.

You're getting shade step and your melee is effectively a grenade because the smoke can be set to damage. And now it can last twice as long. I think it's pretty fair and balanced. Plus the Titan may not have 2 grenades anymore, I haven't heard if The Armamentarium is being brought forward.

Lock down is better. Synergies better with the kit, and as stated by others is less generic. If you really want a second grenade, hope one of the exotics gives it to us.

Lockdown sounds way more fun and unique than just another generic "carry an extra grenade" trait.

3 RespuestasThe only way Titans get two grenades is through an exotic. You're just greedy if you don't see the fairness in your extra grenade coming from an exotic

I think the utility of Vanish in smoke will more than make up for this perk change.

I think they changed their minds when they came up with the idea of the new exotic Hunter gauntlets. I am saddened, but the new perk is rad too

17 RespuestasHunters have the blink/quickdraw combo with no other class has & have chain of woe which significantly increases stability for weapons upon landing precision shots which again no other class has, nighstalker can not only go invisible with a grenade but has the shadestep ability which let's you dash in any direction while reducing damage intake(no other class could even fathom this). Hunters do not need any additional things in any of their subclasses
