A lot of the perks they gave us in this last dlc are a -blam!-ing joke. I would like some halfway decent perks on the new stuff. Is that asking too much? Look at the titan helmet. It gives a titan a useless perk that another class already has, making it useless and unoriginal. It's stuff like this that makes me think that bungie is half-assing some of this stuff. Feel free to disagree with me, but criticism helps people make improvements, and there is always room for improvement.

Thats my gripe each dlc so far has been worser than the last. Ive lost faith in this project.

I agree to a point. Constructive criticism is one of the very things that have made the game improve with this upcoming expansion. Some of these exotics do not look particularly appealing I'll admit; however, the hunter gauntlets and the weopons have promise. I am optimistic that other exotics not shown will show some of the creativity that I have come to expect from gear in this game.

I'm not just talking about the exotics. As a whole, the gear (all across th board) has dropped in quality with each passing dlc. Sorry, but bungie has done little to keep my faith alive in this game. The news of not being able to upgrade all my gear that I've collected/kept thus far, plus these rather lackluster new items that were previewed, has made me skeptical. I hope they prove me wrong, because as a whole, I have enjoyed my time with this game.

well, i think i got some actual good gear, in my opinion, from the HoW and TDB.. black hammer, swordbreaker, song of ir yut, fang of ir yut, six dreg pride, Khepri's sting exotic hunter gauntlets, just to name a few. in fact, i was one of the "forever 29" crowd because i never got any good drops at all, my luck has been really shitty in this game. if it weren't for TDB and the HoW's gear, i would have never gotten to 34. I think the gear will be fine but i guess i am more of an optimist. i could be wrong, guess we will have to wait to find out.

The warlock robes are eye candy. That fusion rifle is a needler knock off (the needler even fired purple bullets). The titan helmet gives you a useless warlock perk. The hunter gauntlets are ok, but there are currently other exotics that give better perks than two melee charges (I do like the way they look though). The only one I thought was promising was the heavy fusion rifle. I'm glad that they finally decided to bring out a new heavy weapon.
