Halo 5 T rated.
Did 343 decided to give Halo 5 a T rated to push away vet players? It looks like 343 don't want vet halo players around so noobs can feel like they are good.
Edit: I'm going to explain myself better. 343 is afraid of vet players . 343 thinks that experience players will make noobs quit. How you may ask. by beating noob players game after game. That's why they give Halo 5 a T rated.

Just a reminder that Halo 5 was rated by the ESRB. Times are different now. Had any other Halo game been released today it would've scored a T rating. If GTA V were released in 2004 it would have scored an AO rating.

The age rating doesn't make the game better or worse. It's just something that is required by the ESRB for parents to judge the content and for stores (such as GameStop) to prevent underage kids from buying games they are too young for (parents and Internet are obvious work around a though).

343i doesn't rate their game. The process is actually kinda dumb. They send in a video of some of the worst (language, violence, etc.) into ESRB (or PEGI or whoever) and the rating board rates it based off of that. Of course, after the game is released, it can be reevaluated. However, the fact that the game is T doesn't deter me from it, and I don't think anybody has a valid reason as to why a T rating makes the game less appealing. Some people say that it attracts squeakers to the game. Guess what; many parents these days don't care about age rating and would've gotten their kid the game if it was M anyways. Either way, I'm going to enjoy Halo 5 and you should too.

7 Respuestas343 didn't give it a T rating. The ESRB did. The reason it's not M anymore is because times change, everyone's become desensitized to violence and language. Now the only way to warrant an M rating is to have Drug and Alcohol reference, suggestive themes, partial nudity, etc.
