I'm looking to improve in Crucible so that I can have a shot at some Trials loot in TTK... Anybody willing to share some tips or let me tag along for some matches? I don't care which match type.. I just need to see what everyone else does differently than me. I watch loads of youtube videos and stuff but can't seem to get any better.. What am I missing?
Edit: 1 I always use the radar, ever since a friend of mine explained how it works. I'm pretty good at knowing whats going on around me and when to retreat and when to advance. I've learned to watch out for choke points and how to bait the opponents into choke points.
To be specific, I usually die when I am in a fight with one guy and I get shot from the opposite direction by someone else. What do you do in that situation?
How do you win against a good sniper? I understand that at a distance the sniper has an advantage. I'm talking about the guys that will engage you mid/close range, hide for 1 second and then pop out and snipe you before you can finish them off.

It's hard to beat a good sniper. Most of them camp in an area and stay there the whole time. You need to take them out by flanking them and staying out of their line of sight. They tend to stay in the scope so if you can sneak up on them. That's the best way. Don't try to engage them at at their effective range or get in a sniper duel with them. Snipers are good and they will beat you more times than not. Either stay away from them or take the fight to them.

1 Respuestasure i can give you some tips. Hunters are best for pvp to me. and if you like stealth. i suggest you to use bladedancer for invisibility with the exotic helmet knucklehead Radar and best weapons for that is Thorn. Hardlight or a good pulse rifle.

1 RespuestaIn a pincer situation, run in the direction that none of them are at. If there is no where to run, angle yourself using cover, again to turn a 3v1 or a 2v1 into separate 1v1s Good luck out there. ;)

Outnumbered? Turn a 3v1 scenario into 3 1v1s by pulling into a choke point with a sniper. To learn your 1v1 gunfights, go play rumble without using last word or thorn. Once you can go positive consistently, I would say you get the idea of rumble. If you wanna win rumble, don't worry about kd, just charge and try and get as many kills as possible.

1 RespuestaSometimes you just have to tip your hat. But of you are in a one on one and a player ducks behind cover, reposition yourself asap. Obviously toss a grenade if you had one, but change his/her sight line and angle. I do the quick snipe to others and it works most the time because the player just stands or run in the same line I saw them in when I went behind cover. Makes my job that much easier knowing where they will be. Making the angle difficult for your opponent is very helpful in a lot of situations. To the flanked scenario, if you aren't in a one on one but have a radar ping straight ahead behind a door or corner, don't just ads while waiting. Zoom in and out so you can see the radar quickly. Also, just know the situation. Meaning if you are entering an area know all the angles that can get you and try to be in the best possible spot. Hope this helps!

1 RespuestaStay with your teammates. Never be caught alone.

1 RespuestaI'll play some skirmish with you and point out whatever I see (which is usually people going into situations they shouldn't or not running away). Ps4 Psn: allenkatza

use Vex Mythoclast with smart drift control and field scout and you can outshoot thorn, red death, sometimes last word, and even heavy machine guns

1 RespuestaLearn to read the radar. Know when to back away from a gunfight and run.

1 RespuestaWatch WTFPoshy, AEGabriel, Remersed, IWrathful, TripleWreck, Reckoin, WarBullet Proof, Bodies, RealKrafty, etc... on Twitch. I'm a visual learner, I watch them on Twitch and see how they play. Plus they will usually ask any question you have.
